Abstract: The present disclosure is generally directed to the field of human-augmentation using computing devices and techniques. In particular, a computer-implemented method may include: (1) identifying, via a message identification component, at least one message associated with a message exchange platform, the message including a query; (2) transmitting, via a communication component, the message to one or more users at respective user devices; (3) receiving, via a recommendation component, responses to the query from the respective user devices; (4) determining, via a scoring component, respective scores of the responses; and (5) selecting, via the scoring component, at least one response having a score exceeding a predetermined threshold. Various other methods, systems, devices, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

Abstract: A tracking device can be reconfigured after an amount of operation to preserve the battery capacity of the tracking device and to ensure that the tracking device can be operated for a pre-determined threshold period of time. The tracking device can provide diagnostic information representative of a state of the tracking device, such as a current power capacity of the tracking device's battery, to a mobile device within a threshold proximity of the tracking device. The mobile device can then provide the diagnostic information to a tracking server, which in turn can provide reconfiguration instructions to the mobile device. The mobile device can then pass on the reconfiguration instructions to the tracking device, in response to which the tracking device can reconfigure itself.

Abstract: A method of improving computer network, includes receiving an identification of performance metrics of the computer network; automatically capturing screenshots of the monitoring dashboards of the performance metrics based on the identification; storing automatically the captured screenshots in an image file format on a storage facility; transmitting automatically and selectively, via a messaging channel, the captured screenshots to designated recipients; analyzing the received screenshots to assess the desired performance metrics, the analyzing including identifying undesirable performance metrics; and providing actions based on the analysis to change configurations of the computer network to address the identified undesirable performance metrics.

Abstract: An information processing apparatus manages multiple users who operate respective communication terminals to participate in a meeting held in a virtual place. The information processing apparatus includes a memory; and a processor, and is configured to execute managing a participating user who participates in the meeting, based on a notice from a communication terminal operated by the participating user, the notice using a unique identifier for the virtual place, and the unique identifier being unique among identifiers respectively assigned to multiple virtual places; generating data for displaying a web page in a web browser of the communication terminal operated by the participating user; and transmitting the generated data to the communication terminal operated by the participating user, wherein the managing determines whether all participating users have exited the meeting based on notices from the multiple communication terminals, to end the meeting.

Abstract: Techniques are described for performing error performance measurement in a packet data communication network such as a packet switching network (PSN). An example method of error performance measurement includes determining, upon expiration of a time period, that a number of one or more test packets received by the first device during the time period is less than an expected number of test packets, where the one or more test packets are received by the first device from the second device in a packet data communication network, and triggering, based on the determining, an error performance measurement that includes evaluating a type of failure for the time period and evaluating one or more types of failures for one or more consecutive time periods that immediately precede the time period.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems, methods, and computer storage media for facilitating user-centric identity management. In this regard, various aspects of identity management are designed to be more transparent to users to bolster user assurance with respect to “behind-the-scenes” procedures of identity management. Generally, indications of data flow between service providers, identity providers, and/or user devices can be provided to the user device for presentation to the user. As a result, visual representations of data flow, notifications of data flow, or the like, can be presented to the user to expose various aspects of identity management. In some embodiments, users may be able to control aspects of identity management, for example, by confirming or preventing data flow between providers.

Abstract: A method includes, with a Virtual Network Function (VNF) component associated with a VNF, communicating with an access network over a first physical network connected to a first physical network interface of a physical machine associated with the VNF component. The method further includes, with the VNF component, communicating with a core network over a second physical network connected to a second physical network interface of the physical machine, the second network being isolated from the first network.

Abstract: Mapping anonymous Internet entities to known accounts. In an embodiment, events, representing online activity and comprising IP addresses, are received from a plurality of sources. Subsets of the events are aggregated into mappings that associate the IP address, shared by the subset, with an account. Each mapping is associated with statistics regarding the events. A confidence value is calculated for each mapping based on the statistics, and a final subset of the mappings is selected based on the confidence values. Subsequently, when a request with an IP address is received, the final subset of mappings is searched for the requested IP address, and an indication of the account associated with the requested IP address is returned in response to the request.

Abstract: A method is provided. A secure interface control in communication with an untrusted entity perform the method. In this regard, the secure interface control implements an initialization instruction to set donated storage as secure. The implementing of the initialization instruction is responsive to an instruction call issued from the untrusted entity.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for training model based on random forest are provided. The method includes: dividing worker nodes into one or more groups; performing random sampling, by worker nodes in each group, in the preset sample data to obtain the target sample data; and training, by the worker nodes in each group, one or more decision tree objects using the target sample data. Example embodiments of the present disclosure do not need to scan the complete sample data for once, thereby greatly reducing the amount of data to be read, the time cost, and further the iterative update time of the model. The efficiency of training is improved.

Abstract: Systems and methods include a computer-implemented method for validating domains and Sender Policy Framework (SPF) configurations. A relevant domain name for a domain in the set of domains is accessed through a domain comma-separated value (CSV) file. An invalid domain name not adhering to CSV format specifications is identified. Any domains without a valid domain name system (DNS) text record are determined. Domains having insufficient SPF configuration mechanisms are determined. Domains having insufficient SPF configuration qualifiers are determined. Domains having insufficient SPF configuration modifiers are determined. A determination is made whether the domain is valid and the SPF configuration is valid based on a domain name, the DNS text record, the mechanisms of the SPF configuration, the qualifiers of the SPF configuration, and the modifiers of the SPF configuration. A report of a set of SPF configurations corresponding to a set of domains is provided.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide an API hybrid multi-tenant routing method and system, as well as an API gateway. The method includes: after receiving an API request message sent by an API caller, obtaining an APP key carried in the message; obtaining, based on a multi-tenant routing policy table, an API running instance URL list corresponding to the APP key; determining an API running instance URL in the API running instance URL list; and returning the API running instance URL to the API caller. The APP key is used to identify the API caller. The multi-tenant routing policy table stores a mapping relationship between the APP key and the API running instance URL list. The API hybrid multi-tenant routing system is a functional module in the API gateway.

Abstract: An online system receives information describing one or more interactions by each of a set of online system users with an entity having a presence in the online system, in which the information includes a geographic location of each user stored in a corresponding user profile. The online system determines multiple polygons defined at different geographic granularities, in which each polygon includes a region on a geographic map. A score is computed for each polygon based on a number of the set of users who interacted with the entity and who have a geographic location within the polygon, as well as a total number of users having a geographic location within the polygon. A polygon is selected based on the scores and a geographic location for the entity is inferred for the entity as the selected polygon at the geographic granularity of the selected polygon.

Abstract: A computer implemented method of routing service requests to service instances in a service mesh. The method comprises monitoring one or more performance characteristics of each of a plurality of network links to service instances. The method further comprises making a prediction of the network latency of transmitting a service request via each of at least two of the plurality of network links and selecting one of the plurality of service instances and routing the service request thereto based on the predictions of the network latencies.

Abstract: Word vectors are multi-dimensional vectors that represent words in a corpus of text and that are embedded in a semantically-encoded vector space. Word vectors can be used for sentiment analysis, comparison of the topic or content of sentences, paragraphs, or other passages of text or other natural language processing tasks. However, the generation of word vectors can be computationally expensive. Accordingly, when a set of word vectors is needed for a particular corpus of text, a set of word vectors previously generated from a corpus of text that is sufficiently similar to the particular corpus of text, with respect to some criteria, may be re-used for the particular corpus of text. Such similarity could include the two corpora of text containing the same or similar sets of words or containing incident reports or other time-coded sets of text from overlapping or otherwise similar periods of time.
