  • Patent number: 7120928
Abstract: A computerized method of providing and allowing secure selective sharing of account information between users of an Internet information aggregation system. A grantor user creates one or more view pages, each of the view pages having a plurality of monitors therein. A unique visitation access code is assigned to each of a plurality of grantee users of the system. The grantor uses the visitation access codes to selectively grant visitation access to the grantor's view pages to selected grantees. When a grantee logs onto the Internet information aggregation system via a processor, such as a computer or a mobile device, the system allows the grantee user to select one of the grantors' view pages, whereupon the system displays the selected grantor's view page on the grantee user's display.

  • Patent number: 7117535
Abstract: A technique for creating a tamper-resistant machine identifier is disclosed. A file is created with a set of file blocks having random locations. Each block is identified by an object identifier that represents the block's location. A machine identifier is created based on the object identifiers of the file blocks. Machine-identifier-dependent software (i.e., software that is designed to perform its function only in the presence of a particular machine identifier) is created and loaded into the file. The software has the machine identifier embedded within itself, and checks the object identifiers of the file in which it is stored against the embedded machine identifier prior to performing its functions. The software may, in one example, be rights-management software that is adapted to allow commercially valuable content to be rendered only on a particular device having a particular machine identifier.

  • Patent number: 7114081
Abstract: A leakage preventing system of confidential information, for example, for CBT (Computer Based Training), prevents leakage of highly confidential education and training information. The system includes a manager terminal unit having an authentication server, an educator/trainer terminal unit for holding confidential information for CBT in the encrypted form and operated by a specific user, and a communication network for exchanging from time to time data between these terminal units. Authentication is given to the educator/trainer terminal unit only when an authentication request from the educator/trainer terminal unit satisfies predetermined authentication granting requirements, and a prescribed limited using time is set so as to make it possible to peruse the confidential information decoded in the educator/trainer terminal unit, only within the limited time.

  • Patent number: 7106864
Abstract: In an encryption/decryption system for converting data signals between an unencrypted plaintext format and an encrypted ciphertext format plurality of round modules are provided permitting a respective set of input data signals (TEXT IN) to generate a respective set of output data signals (TEXT OUT) by means of transformation controlled by a round key (SUBKEY). The transformation is identified by at least one map function derived from a chaotic map.

  • Patent number: 7093284
Abstract: An exemplary embodiment of the invention relates to a method, system, and storage medium for preventing recurrence of a duplicate system outage in a computer network. The system comprises a server coupled to a network bus; an operating system executing on the server which includes an ABEND processing section; a logon authorization section; and a command processing section. A data storage device is operably connected to the server. The data storage device includes a persistent storage area that stores user ID files including user account records associated with network system users. The user account records store user IDs. The persistent storage area further includes an exemption list; an offending user ID field; and modifying modules associated with the operating system. The system also comprises at least one workstation operably coupled to the network bus.
