Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for classifying a trip. Embodiments include receiving, from a plurality of users, a plurality of historical trip records. Each of the plurality of historical trip records may comprise one or more historical trip attributes and historical classification information. Embodiments include training a predictive model, using the plurality of historical trip records, to classify trips based on trip records. Training the predictive model may comprise determining a plurality of hot spots based on the historical trip records, each of the plurality of hot spots comprising a region encompassing one or more locations, and associating, in the predictive model, the plurality of hot spots with historical classification information. Embodiments include receiving, from a user, a new trip record comprising a plurality of trip attributes related to a trip and using the predictive model to predict a classification for the trip based on the trip record.

Abstract: While concurrently displaying representations of a plurality of recently used applications, including a first application representation that corresponds to a first application and a second application representation that corresponds to a second application, at least a first portion of a first user input, including first movement of an input object, is detected. If the first movement of the input object includes movement in a first direction that meets first criteria, the representations of the plurality of recently used applications cease to be displayed and an application launching user interface is displayed. If the first movement of the input object includes movement in a second direction that meets second criteria, the representations of the plurality of recently used applications cease to be displayed and a first user interface of the first application is displayed in an enhanced-reachability mode and shifted in a predefined direction at least partially off of the display.

Abstract: A management system of a computing device provides enhanced functionality via selectable icons (e.g., tiles), presented on a home screen, that may be overlaid to perform overlay operations such as data transfer, payment, and/or granting of certain authorizations or permissions. Users are able to more readily perform cross-application and/or cross-entity operations via, for example, the operating system of a computing device without needing to engage with as many entities (or applications thereof). Tile overlay operations may be managed and reviewed via an application.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for populating application-specific information using overlay applications. For example, in order to relieve some of the difficulties users face in inputting information into mobile devices which may have smaller screen sizes and may not feature dedicated input mechanisms, the methods and systems described herein automatically populate application-specific information. The methods and systems do this using an application that presents an application overlay feature. That is, the application is accessible while a user is using another application (e.g., on the mobile device) and/or while a user is scrolling through other applications.

Abstract: An interface display method is disclosed. The method includes: An electronic device displays a first page of a first application in full screen. The electronic device receives a first operation on the first page. In response to the first operation, the electronic device displays the first page in a window form in a first area of a display, displays a second page of a second application in a window form in a second area of the display, and displays a first control in a third area of the display, where the first control is associated with a third page of the first application. When the electronic device receives a fourth operation on the first control, the electronic device displays the third page in full screen in response to the fourth operation. In this way, the third page can be quickly entered from the first page, and access efficiency is improved.

Abstract: A method for rendering context based information on a user interface includes receiving a user request to extract the context based information from a database. The database includes a plurality of documents and the request includes at least one search criteria required to determine a context of the user request. The method includes generating a list of documents corresponding to the context of the user request and rendering on a viewing portion of the user interface the list of documents corresponding to the context of the user request.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide an application starting method and apparatus, and an electronic device. For any application that is installed in the electronic device and that supports multi-window display, based on configurations of an application layer and an application framework layer in a software system of the electronic device, the electronic device that supports a floating window and split-screen display may have a single-application multi-instance feature. In this way, the Dock triggers any application to start the multi-instance feature of the application, and the electronic device may simultaneously display a plurality of windows of the application on a display in a plurality of window combination forms, so that multi-instance coordination processing and operation may be performed on a same application.

Abstract: The disclosure is directed to systems and techniques for executing a documentation application displaying a graphical user interface having a content-creation field configured to receive textual input. A link-creation window may be generated, which facilitates browsing third-party content without leaving a current application. Using the disclosed interface, a user can generate a selectable graphical object that links to third-party content from within the context of the content-creation field interface.

Abstract: Automatically determining, with reduced (or no) input from the users of a group, a set of activity instances that the group of users has interest in performing. A representation of the set of activity instances can be rendered for consideration by a group, and the set of activity instances can be determined even when only limited criteria are specified. Optionally, in response to affirmative user interface input(s) directed to a rendered representation of the set of activity instances, one or more of the activity instances of the set can be confirmed through limited input(s) of one or more users of the group. Further, the automatic determination of the set of activity instances is optionally performed using one or more trained machine learning models that are trained to optimize a likelihood that the users of the group will find the set satisfactory.

Abstract: An AI engine having an architect module to create a number of nodes and how the nodes are connected in a graph of concept nodes that make up a resulting AI model. The architect module also creates a first concept node by wrapping an external entity of code into a software container with an interface configured to exchange information in a protocol of a software language used by the external entity of code. The architect module also creates a second concept node derived from its description in a scripted file coded in a pedagogical programming language, and connects the second concept node into the graph of nodes in the resulting AI model.

Abstract: Example techniques may involve tuning a music discovery dial. An implementation may include displaying, on the touch-sensitive circular graphical display, a circular graphical user interface including multiple wedge-shaped selectable regions arranged around the circumference of the circular graphical user interface, each wedge-shaped selectable region corresponding to a respective streaming audio channel. The implementation may include detecting a touch input in a circular motion to the touch-sensitive circular graphical display and causing a paired playback device to play back an audio content snippet corresponding to each selectable regions that the touch input enters. The implementation may further include switching the playback device from playing back a given pre-cached audio content snippet to playing back the full audio track from one or more servers of a streaming audio service.

The uni-card interface may include a multi-state interface that can provide increasingly more detailed information upon each interaction. For example, the uni-card interface can provide a first state with condensed information, a second state with expanded information, and a third state with immersive information.

The first teleoperational manipulators is configured for operation by an operator control device of the operator control system. The first teleoperational manipulator is configured to control the operation of the first medical instrument in a surgical environment. The processing unit is configured to display an image of a field of view of the surgical environment and display a menu proximate to an image of the first medical instrument in the image of the field of view. The menu includes at least one state indicator representing a state of a component of the first medical instrument.

Abstract: A method for configuring a UI (User Interface) displayed on a display of an IVI (In-Vehicle Infotainment) device is provided. Recorded real user interactions may be analyzed, and matching sequences may be implemented as corresponding activities in an RPA workflow.

Abstract: A system can receive, at a user interface, at least one constraint and a range for at least one parameter for a wellbore operation. The system can generate, by at least one algorithm, a recommendation of a value for the at least one parameter within the range for the at least one parameter. The recommendation can be based on a sustainability metric and the at least one constraint for the wellbore operation. The system can output, at the user interface, the recommendation of the value for the at least one parameter and an indication of additional outcomes for the sustainability metric using other values within the range for the at least one parameter.
