  • Patent number: 8915026
Abstract: A barrier for blocking access to an enclosed space so that wildlife cannot enter the space for either nesting or other habitation is disclosed. Plural resilient spikes extend outwardly in an array from a base. When the apparatus is inserted into a space, the spikes bend so that the tips engage the walls of the space to lodge the barrier in place and resist extraction. The spikes discourage wildlife from entering and nesting in the space.

  • Patent number: 8910450
Abstract: Method and device for strengthening and lightening floor and roof framing, using several devices, prefabricated beams, molds, mesh, concrete laid on site and where necessary reinforcing rods. The method involves affixing the device, including a section, two bolts and a pin, wrapped transversally around the beam. Several devices can be affixed along each beam. The beams are placed on their walls or girders, parallel and separated depending on the molds, then the molds are seated in the protruding segments of the bolts of the device until the spans are covered, affixing reinforcing rods in the sides of the device where necessary. The mesh is laid by attaching it to the ends of the devices. The concrete is poured until the compression slab and the channels above the beams are filled. Once set, the bolts are removed to recover the molds from below.

  • Patent number: 8911015
Abstract: Embodiments of a highly protective, safe and strong car seat are disclosed and include an outer protective shell, an inner seat, a suspension system connecting and permitting relative movement between the inner seat and the outer protective shell, and a harness adapted to hold an occupant to the inner seat and not attached to the outer protective shell. In the case of an accident, regardless of the direction in which the seat is facing and regardless of whether the result is a sudden acceleration and/or deceleration, the inner seat will move inside the frame, and the suspension system will absorb some, much, or all of the energy. Energy not absorbed by the suspension system may be absorbed by the inner seat itself. The frame is of extremely high strength and will remain structurally intact in almost all circumstances thereby protecting the occupant of the car seat.
