  • Patent number: 5344023
Abstract: A three piece egg container assembly is provided which includes a rectangular base member having a bottom wall, sidewalls and an open top, an egg tray with a plurality of egg receiving receptacles receivable within the base member and a removable lid for the base member. The lid is configured with a peripheral lip such that one side of the lid conforms to the base member bottom wall, the open top of the base member and the egg tray such that the first surface of the lid could receive any of those elements. A second side of the lid conforms to the opening of the base member such that the lid can be received in the opening either in an upright position or an inverted position. Stacking of numerous base members with intervening inverted lids or stacking of the egg tray on the lid is thereby accommodated by this construction.

  • Patent number: 5344024
Abstract: A case for organizing and sorting small articles includes a body and a hinged lid with a latch mechanism for closing securely. A plurality of web portions in the inside surface of the lid align with matching web portions in the inside surface of the bottom of the case, forming a plurality of cells in the lid and bottom of the case. An article container fits into each cell, and is sealed at the top by the case lid when it is closed, and is restrained from movement by the top and bottom web. The top surface of the lid includes a recessed article sorting tray, which tapers as a funnel toward the rear of the case and terminates in a chute. An article container is placed in a recessed loading channel at the rear of the body. Small articles can be sorted or selected in the sorting tray in the case top and then returned to the container by lifting the lid.

  • Patent number: 5339952
Abstract: Disclosed is a transfer container for carrying circuit panels in and between substantially contaminant free environments. The walls of the transfer container are fabricated out of substantially particulate free, unfilled polymers, such as polycarbonate. One of the end walls is an access wall. The access wall has an opening surrounded by a ferromagnetic gasket. This gasketed opening is adapted to receive a ferromagnetic door panel. The side walls, and the top and bottom walls may extend beyond the access wall, with the ends of said walls defining a plane, so that the access wall is recessed with respect to the plane defined by the said extensions. Each of the side walls have co-planar bracket pairs for holding circuit panels. Either one of, or preferably both brackets of a bracket pair have pyramidal or conical positioning pins. These pins extend upwardly from the brackets and are adapted to receive and hold a workpiece in place.

  • Patent number: 5328033
Abstract: A unitary corrugated board insert for a bicycle shipping container. The insert is fashioned from a generally unitary blank of corrugated paperboard, with panels of the insert defined by vertically extending score or fold lines. One of the panels is provided on one of its surfaces with an adhesive. The insert is formed by folding the several panels about the fold lines so as to yield an insert in the general form of two vertically running channels or enclosures for parts which must be added by the consumer to complete the assembly of the bicycle. These two channels are joined by folding the blank and attaching its free left and right ends to that panel which has been provided with adhesive. The two channels store some of the components of the bicycle which must be added by the consumer to complete bicycle assembly.

  • Patent number: 5328026
Abstract: A flat multiple tool holder includes a generally flat card-like substrate having an interior and a pair of opposite end edges, and a plurality of separate pockets in the interior of the substrate. Each pocket is open at one of the opposite end edges of the substrate. Further, each pocket is shaped to match a profile of a given one of a plurality of different tools. The flat card-like substrate is formed by front, rear and middle layers laminated together in a sandwiched facing relationship with one another. The front and rear layers of the substrate are solid layers. The middle layer of the substrate has a plurality of separate voids or cutouts defined therein. Each of the cutouts is shaped to match a profile of a given one of a plurality of different tools. When the three layers are sealed or laminated together, these cutouts define pockets in the holder for receiving the various tools.
