Abstract: A cremation urn comprising an internal structure with an opening, an external opening with an opening that is correspondingly aligned with the opening on the internal structure, and sealing means in the form of a threaded lid or press fit lid. A threaded flange is attached to the opening on the internal structure and is molded into the urn during manufacturing. The materials used for the urn produce an urn with the appearance of marble. Once the urn is made, by use of a manufacturing method, the threaded lid is screwed into the threaded flange, thereby creating a one-piece, air-tight and water-tight cremation urn.
Abstract: A compartmentalized cremation urn and system for retaining multigenerational cremains of humans and/or pets is provided. Abstract: A structure for containing cinerary urns and funerary items in general, which comprises a plurality of modular elements, such modular elements comprising: a plurality of box-like bodies, each one defining, within it, at least one niche for accommodating at least one cinerary urn and/or at least one funerary item and having a front face which is provided with at least one access opening; a plurality of elements for mutually joining such box-like bodies, which have at least one connecting portion adapted to be fixed to the front face of the box-like bodies arranged mutually adjacent; a plurality of profiled finishing elements designed to cover such joining elements at least partially; a plurality of retention bodies designed to be fixed with respect to such box-like bodies and adapted to peripherally engage closing plates, which are respectively intended for closing the openings of such box-like bodies.
Abstract: A tandem casket system includes two caskets disposed side by side. Interconnecting the two caskets is a passageway in which the hands of occupants of the caskets can be joined.
Abstract: The present invention includes three off-set hinges adapted to utilize the weight of the door to cause the door to self position and allow manual operation of the door. A center hinge includes a top leaf, a center pin, and a bottom leaf. The center pin includes an upper pin-portion adapted to slidably insert into an inverted slot on a top socket of the top leaf and an oppositely disposed lower pin-portion adapted to slidably insert into an upright cylindrical slot of the bottom leaf. A gear is disposed intermediate to the upper pin-portion and lower pin-portion. The gear is fixed or otherwise coupled to the pin whereby rotation of the gear results in corresponding rotation of the pin including both the top portion and the bottom portion. The lower pin-portion further includes a beveled lower (distal) end. This bevel matches a corresponding bevel in the bottom leaf.
Abstract: A memorial object including inner cremation contents, and a housing structure for housing the inner cremation contents, the housing structure being made of at least a first fluid, wherein the housing structure is maintainable in a predetermined solid shape only upon maintenance of the housing structure under a freezing temperature of the first fluid. Preferably the fluid is water. The invention provides a sustainable method of making a dissolvable memorial object or urn by transforming water into solid shape of ice encapsulating cremation ashes.
Abstract: A cardboard casket includes a top piece and a bottom piece. The top piece is formed by making a single press die cut in a reinforced core cardboard panel, including cutting the reinforced core cardboard panel to form the top piece and forming seams in the top piece. The bottom piece is formed by making another single press die cut in another reinforced core cardboard panel, including cutting the other reinforced core cardboard panel to form the bottom piece and forming seams in the bottom piece. Cutting the top and bottom pieces includes cutting through a first layer, a reinforced core, and a second layer of the reinforced core cardboard panels. Forming seams in the top and bottom pieces includes deforming the first layer in the seams, deforming a majority of the reinforced core in the seams, and leaving the second layer in the seam uncut.

Abstract: The Dollar Coin Converter is an annular attachment to a United States dollar coin, which semi-permanently converts the coin into the same size and one-third the weight of a silver dollar. The converted coin is tactilely and visually, easily distinguished from the United States quarter coin. It provides advertising incentives to distributors to circulate the converted coin, and marketing incentives to the public to circulate it, saving billions of dollars. The Dollar Coin Converter is made of inexpensive, one-piece or two-piece construction. It holds a dollar coin securely, and will tolerate normal handling, such as cash transactions. The coin may be easily removed or replaced, if it is needed for a vending machine. The converted dollar coin retains the inherent magnetic and electrical, anti-counterfeiting characteristics of the dollar coin.
Abstract: A handle can be fastened to a main body by way of screws and includes a main profiled part having two receiving portions and at least two slot nuts, which each have a threaded hole for receiving one of the screws. One slot nut each is inserted in a receiving portion and can be clamped in the receiving portion when a screw, which passes through the main body, is screwed into the threaded hole. The clamping of the slot nuts generates tensile stresses which pull the main profiled part in the direction of the surface of the main body and thus secure the main profiled part to the main body.
