  • Patent number: 11489778
Abstract: A system controls a transmission of data. A sensor datum measured by a sensor is received. Whether to send the received sensor datum to a multiplexer is determined based on a predefined real time download rate. When the determination indicates to send the received sensor datum to the multiplexer, the received sensor datum is sent to the multiplexer. When the determination does not indicate to send the received sensor datum to the multiplexer, the received sensor datum is written to a data file. The written sensor datum is sent from the data file to the multiplexer when there is an indicator of excess available bandwidth.

  • Patent number: 11490387
Abstract: Example communication methods and apparatus that are applied to discrete narrowband communication information are described. One example communication method includes sending first indication information to a terminal by a network device. The first indication information includes a frequency channel number of a start sub-band in all discrete sub-bands of a serving cell in which the terminal is currently located, a bitmap representing whether each sub-band in a frequency band belongs to the serving cell, and a frequency spacing between sub-bands in the frequency band. The frequency band is a frequency band to which all the discrete sub-bands of the serving cell belong. The network device sends second indication information to the terminal, wherein the second indication information is used to indicate a sub-band available to the terminal in all the discrete sub-bands of the serving cell.

  • Patent number: 11490263
Abstract: In one example, a user equipment (UE) has a non-Third Generation Partnership Project (non-3GPP) radio transceiver for communication in a local private non-3GPP wireless network and a 3GPP radio transceiver for communication in a 3GPP network, where the 3GPP network may be a public 3GPP network or a local private 3GPP network operative in a shared spectrum according to a system for shared spectrum access. Initially, the UE may operate the 3GPP radio transceiver for communication in the public 3GPP network, without performing regular scanning for the local private 3GPP network. In a scan operation using the non-3GPP radio transceiver, the UE may receive from a non-3GPP access point of the local private non-3GPP wireless network one or more messages including one or more information elements. If an information element indicates presence of the local private 3GPP network, the UE may identify and register with the local private 3GPP network.

  • Patent number: 11425737
Abstract: A wireless communications system may support a large number of user equipment (UEs) and a base station may transmit resource configuration information to a group of UEs, in which the configuration information identifies the group of UEs. In some cases, the base station may receive a data transmission from a UE of the UE group that the base station cannot decode. The base station may then transmit a group-common feedback signal to the UE group. Once the transmitting UE of the UE group receives the group-common signal, the UE may re-transmit the data to the base station. By sending a group-common feedback signal, the base station may conserve resources, improve reliability and increase successful uplink transmissions from UEs.

  • Patent number: 11343661
Abstract: In a base station, control circuitry determines, based on an offset for defining a frequency position of a narrowband allocated to an MPDCCH and a resource block group size of a system band, allocations of a first EPDCCH set and a second EPDCCH set that constitute the MPDCCH. The MPDCCH is a PDCCH for MTC. The second EPDCCH set has a different number of PRBs from the first EPDCCH set. A transmitter transmits a control signal according to the allocations of the first EPDCCH set and the second EPDCCH set. Further, the control circuitry controls a number of RBGs in which both the first EPDCCH set and the second EPDCCH set are allocated to be zero or one.
