Abstract: A device may receive a packet that includes a destination address. The device may analyze a first Bloom filter, based on the destination address, in order to identify a prefix range entry associated with the destination address and included in a set of prefix range entries associated with the first Bloom filter. The device may analyze a second Bloom filter, based on the destination address and the identified prefix range entry, in order to identify a prefix length entry associated with the destination address and included in a set of prefix length entries associated with the second Bloom filter. The device may determine routing information associated with the identified prefix length entry. The routing information may identify a longest prefix match associated with the destination address. The device may provide the packet based on the routing information.

  • Patent number: 10127097
Abstract: The present disclosure describes systems and methods for propagating port state to intermediary devices of a cluster in a static link aggregation environment. The methods and systems include a cluster comprising a plurality of intermediary devices in communication with a network device via a static link aggregation comprising aggregated ports from different intermediary devices of the cluster. A first device of the static link aggregation is configured to detect that a health of the first device is below a predetermined threshold and, responsive to the detection, identify one or more ports in the aggregated ports as down. A second device of the link aggregation is configured to, responsive to the identification, remove the ports from a distribution list for the static link aggregation. Upon detection that a health of a device is above a predetermined threshold, the first device may identify the ports as up.

  • Patent number: 10117230
Abstract: The present invention relates to reporting the channel state information in a communication system. The channel state information is reported from the user terminal to a base station. Accordingly, the user terminal determines a first channel state information value from a first set of values (levels) and a second channel state information value from another set of values, preferably a larger set of values. Then a difference or other relative measure is calculated between the first and the second channel state information value and transmitted to the base station.

  • Patent number: 10075258
Abstract: A connection-oriented communications network comprises a plurality of interconnected nodes. A traffic path can be set up across the network. Path delay data is obtained for the traffic path by using control plane signalling messages (e.g. a Resource Reservation Protocol-Traffic Engineering, RSVP-TE signalling message) between nodes of the traffic path. The path delay data can be path delay asymmetry data indicative of an asymmetry in path delay between a forward transmission direction and a reverse transmission direction of the traffic path. Each intermediate node along the traffic path can form a signalling message for forwarding to the downstream node which includes one or more values of path delay incurred by that node, or an accumulated path delay value. The path delay can result from one or more of mapping delay, Forward Error Correction (FEC) coding and propagation delay.
