  • Patent number: 11237701
Abstract: A display control device includes an operation-display unit and a controller. The operation-display unit hierarchically displays multiple functions using multiple screens and accepts an operation performed through an approach or touch of an object. The controller performs control so that, when the object approaches a function displayed on an original screen, a next screen associated with the function selected as a result of the approach of the object is temporarily displayed using a display mode corresponding to a relationship between the original screen and the next screen.

  • Patent number: 11198061
Abstract: A multi-instance, multi-user animation platform includes a plurality of modeled parallel dimensions in a computer memory. Each of the parallel dimensions may be an independent model of a physical, three-dimensional space having corresponding features such that the parallel dimensions are recognizable as counterparts to each other. Avatars are located within corresponding ones of the parallel dimensions so as to prevent over-population of any one of the parallel dimensions by avatars. Avatars are animated within different ones of the parallel dimensions using input from respective users to provide virtual-reality data. A common space is modeled in the computer memory configured in relation to the plurality of parallel instances so that an object located inside the common space is visible from viewpoints located inside each of the plurality of parallel instances. Remote clients may output an animated display of a corresponding one of the parallel dimensions and avatars therein.

  • Patent number: 11194450
Abstract: Methods and systems are described for creating and/or processing a definition for a dashboard with manually input code and user selections in a graphical user interface. In some implementations, user interface elements are displayed and selections from a user accepted. Responsive to the selections, definitions for one or more visualizations and datasources are automatically generated and displayed in a user interface element that accepts manually input customizations and code from the user. The resulting combination of code and definitions is stored as a definition for the dashboard, which when processed will transform data received from the at least one of the datasources, combine the transformed data with data from another of the datasources, and cause the display of a visualization based on the combined data.

  • Patent number: 11113081
Abstract: According to an embodiment of the present invention, a video is generated from a communication session pertaining to support for use of a user interface. A scenario is identified within a document including content of the communication session. One or more items corresponding to the identified scenario and associated with the user interface are extracted from the document. The extracted items are mapped to corresponding aspects of the user interface, wherein at least one of the extracted items remains unmapped to the user interface. At least one question is determined for a user to receive information to map an unmapped item to a corresponding aspect of the user interface. A video is generated based on the mapped aspects of the user interface to reproduce one or more activities performed during the use of the user interface.

  • Patent number: 11086514
Abstract: Techniques for obfuscating user selections during user-input of sensitive information, involving displaying several targets, such as keys of a virtual keyboard, on a display device, where each target corresponds to one of multiple options. When a first visual indication of a current user target moves to a first target in response to a first movement of a user pointer to a first position within the first target, the obfuscation system can be configured to concurrently move a second visual indication of a first distractor target to another target. The current user target is thus obfuscated as two different visual indicators and/or pointers move through the targets.

  • Patent number: 11061548
Abstract: An information technology (IT) and security operations application is described that stores data reflecting customizations that users make to GUIs displaying information about various types of incidents, and further uses such data to generate “popular” interface profiles indicating popular GUI modifications. The analysis of the GUI customizations data is performed using data associated with multiple tenants of the IT and security operations application to develop profiles that may represent a general consensus on a collection and arrangement of interface elements that enable analysts to efficiently respond to certain types of incidents. Users of the IT and security operations application can then optionally apply these popular interface profiles to various GUIs during their use of the application.

  • Patent number: 11017813
Abstract: A processing device provides, on a mobile device, a storyline content user interface (UI) for adding video content to a storyline, the storyline content UI having a first area including a media player, a second area including visual representations of video clips of one or more storylines, and a third area including a first UI element to record video content. In response to a user activation of the first UI element, the processing device initiates recording of a new video clip, determines that a duration of the new video clip has reached a predetermined threshold, creates a visual representation of the new video clip, associates the new video clip that reached the predetermined threshold with an additional storyline, and adds the visual representation of the new video clip to the second area. In response to a user selection of the visual representation of the new video clip in the second area of the storyline content UI, the processing device causes the new video clip to be associated with the storyline.
