  • Patent number: 9597741
Abstract: A method and a device for facing surfaces of workpieces, in particular made of light metal alloys, in which a cutting tool is moved in a feed direction relative to the surface and removes material at a defined thickness by cutting, wherein the cutting tool is moved in a defined feed direction with one or more cutter bars oriented substantially parallel to the surface. The cutter bars are always set at an angle of <90° but >0° with respect to the feed direction. In this way, surfaces with high surface quality can be produced, in particular for workpieces made of light metal, with cost-effective machining parameters.

  • Patent number: 9579733
Abstract: A hole saw includes a circular saw blade and a cover plate. The circular saw blade is made by rounding a lengthwise rectangular metal sheet and connecting two ends thereof to define therein an accommodating space. The circular saw blade has one edge provided with a plurality of sawteeth and an opposite edge provided with a connecting portion. The cover plate covers the connecting portion of the circular saw blade and has a base, a positioning portion and a shoulder. The positioning portion extends from the base toward the connecting portion. The shoulder is formed between the base and the positioning portion. Thereby, the hole saw has advantages about low manufacturing costs and short production cycle. Besides, since the shoulder increases contacting area between the circular saw blade and the cover plate, the structural firmness of the soldered hole saw is improved.

  • Patent number: 9539659
Abstract: A gear machining apparatus causes a machining tool and a workpiece to rotate at a high speed in synchronization with each other to machine a highly accurate gear through cutting. The machining tool is manufactured such that each of pitches between tool blades of the machining tool is an integer multiple of a pitch between teeth of the gear, the integer multiple being equal to or larger than double. By using the machining tool for cutting performed by the gear machining apparatus, the number of the tool blades of the machining tool, which are brought into contact with the workpiece at the same time, is reduced. Thus, it is possible to suppress occurrence of self-excited vibrations during cutting by reducing the cutting resistance. Thus, it is possible to enhance the tooth trace accuracy of the gear.
