Abstract: A multilayer, oriented shrink film includes a core layer, skin layers on opposed sides of the core layer, and an interlayer between each skin layer and the core layer for bonding each skin layer to the core layer. The core layer comprises a polypropylene terpolymer, at least one polybutene-1 copolymer and at least one polypropylene elastomeric copolymer including ethylene. At least one skin layer comprises at least one amorphous glycol-modified polyethylene terephthalate. At least one interlayer includes a polypropylene terpolymer and an ethylene copolymer with vinyl acetate or methyl acrylate. The shrink film has a shrinkage of greater than 50% at 95° C. in one of the machine direction and transverse direction of film formation and has a density below 1.0 g/cm3.

Abstract: A method for creating a three dimensional (3D) object from reactive components that form a thermoset product. In one embodiment, a method includes providing first and second reactive components that are effective to form the thermoset product. In one embodiment, the thermoset product includes a urethane and/or urea-containing polymer. In one embodiment, the first reactive component includes an isocyanate and the second reactive component includes a polyol having at least one terminal hydroxyl group, a polyamine having at least one amine that includes an isocyanate reactive hydrogen, or a combination of the polyol and the polyamine. In one embodiment, the first reactive component includes a prepolymer, and optionally the ratio of viscosity of the first and second reactive components is from 1:3 to 3:1. Also provided is a 3D object that includes a completely reacted thermoset product, and a thermoset system that includes a first and a second reactive component.

Abstract: A hard coat film having excellent adhesion (particularly adhesion over time) to a hard coat layer when a cycloolefin polymer film is used as a base material. The hard coat film comprises a hard coat layer containing an ionizing radiation curable resin laminated on at least one surface of a cycloolefin polymer base film via a primer layer. The primer layer has an arithmetic average surface roughness (Ra) in the range of 0.5 nm to 15.0 nm, and a surface of the primer layer has a static friction coefficient in the range of 0.6 to 2.0.
Abstract: A foldable display module is provided. The foldable display module includes a folded region and non-folded regions located on two sides of the folded region, and a flexible display panel and a flexible support layer disposed on a rear portion of the flexible display panel. A thickness of the flexible support layer ranges from 150 micrometers to 1000 micrometers, and a thickness of the flexible support layer corresponding to the folded region is less than a thickness of the flexible support layer corresponding to the non-folded regions. The present invention effectively reduces material and manufacturing costs of current foldable devices by thinning a portion of the flexible support layer corresponding to the folded region.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a dust-purifying adhesive layer, a dust-purifying film, and a dust-purifying film sleeve. The dust-purifying adhesive layer comprises a substrate layer, an optically clear adhesive (OCA) layer, and a dust-purifying layer, the dust-purifying layer and the OCA layer respectively disposed on two sides of the substrate layer, wherein the dust-purifying layer is adapted for dust-purifying and air bubbles elimination. Compared with the prior art, the dust-purifying adhesive layer comprises a dust-purifying layer having functions of dust-purifying function and anti-foaming and when the dust-purifying film is arranged on the screen of the electronic device, the dust-purifying layer is in direct contact with the screen, and during the film-pasting process, air bubbles can be quickly eliminated, so that no air bubbles are generated during the film-pasting process.
Abstract: Provided herein is a hierarchical superhydrophobic surface comprising an array of first geometrical features disposed on a substrate comprising a first material and a terminal level disposed on the second features, wherein the terminal level comprises a second material, the second material being different from the first material. The second material has a hydrophilicity different from the hydrophilicity of at least one of 1) the hydrophilicity of the second material and 2) hydrophilicity induced by the hierarchical structure. The present disclosure further includes methods of preparing hierarchical superhydrophobic surfaces and medical devices comprising the hierarchical superhydrophobic surfaces.

Abstract: Disclosed is a dispersible adhesively bonded wet tissue laminate and more particularly a dispersible wet wipe comprising two or more adhesively bonded tissue plies. Generally, the wipe comprises first, and second tissue plies adhesively bonded to one another by an adhesive, particularly a triggerable binder, disposed at the interface of the plies. The first and second tissue plies preferably comprise fibrous tissue plies and more preferably wet-laid tissue plies consisting essentially of conventional papermaking fibers. The adhesively bonded laminates are generally strong enough to withstand use, such as having a geometric mean wet tensile strength (GMWT) greater than about 250 g/in, but disperse quickly in water, such as having a Slosh Time less than about 60 minutes.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH) resin composition, an EVOH film formed therefrom, and a multilayer structure containing the same. The core height difference (Sk) of the surface of the EVOH resin composition is between 0.6 and 2.0 ?m, and the overall standard deviation of Sk is between 0.05 and 0.55. The invention can reduce the torque output during processing to achieve the effect of energy saving, and can also improve the stability during output to obtain a better film appearance.
