  • Publication number: 20220291405
Abstract: Storing and retrieving subsurface rock physical property models for well drilling by generating estimated subsurface rock physical property models based on a respective set of seismic data, determining a stratigraphic classification for each model based on seismic interpretation data; storing the models associated classification in a database, determining characteristics of the seismic data used to generate the models, selecting from the database a subset of the models based on a similarity of the stratigraphic classification, determining measures of similarity between the characteristics of the seismic data used to generate each of subset of the models and a new set of seismic data and retrieving an estimated subsurface rock physical property model from the subset models based on the similarity measures.

  • Publication number: 20220284343
Abstract: Machine teaching in an embodiment can include receiving a user annotated concept for a given image in given context. The given image can be broken into parts and classified. Relationships can be determined associated with the parts. The created relationships can be stored along with the user annotated concept in a knowledge base. One or more similar images can be annotated using the parts and relationships. A second image associated the given context can be retrieved, decomposed into parts. The parts can be classified. Relationships can be determined associated with the second image's parts. Classifications and relationships associated with the second image's parts can be compared with classifications and relationships associated with the given image's parts. Based on comparing, the second image can be annotated with the user annotated concept for the given image.

  • Patent number: 11386143
Abstract: Method, apparatus, and computer program product are provided for retrieving analogues using topological knowledge representation (TKR). In some embodiments, a TKR input query is built and/or validated using a domain-specific knowledge base (KB). A search database containing candidate analogues and corresponding pre-built TKRs is then searched to retrieve at least one analogue of the TKR input query using statistical analysis. In some embodiments, a system may build the TKR input query based on a seismic dataset. For example, the system may receive a seismic dataset, segment the seismic dataset and classify each region using a computer vision (CV) database and the KB, and build the TKR input query based on the segmented and classified seismic dataset. In some embodiments, the TKR input query may be input and/or edited by a user. For example, the TKR input query may be input and/or edited by the user and validated using the KB.

  • Publication number: 20200097868
Abstract: Geological risk assessment includes receiving a first set of geological factors associated with a first site. Data pertaining to at least one second site with a second set of geological factors similar to first set of geological factors of the first site is retrieved. A user input indicating a comparison of the first set of geological factors to the second set of geological factors received, and a level of knowledge of the first site is determined based upon the comparison. A suggested probability of success for the first site is determined based upon the level of knowledge. A probability of success is determined for each of the geological factors of the second set of geological factors. A probability of success for the first site is determined. The probability of success of the first site is assessed based upon the level of knowledge of the first site, the suggested probability of success for the first site, and the probability of success for each of the second set of geological factors.

  • Publication number: 20120266573
Abstract: The present invention relates to the use of suitable sized cork stoppers for spirit wine with still wine. More particularly, relates to the use of “Bartop” stoppers with still wine bottles. The use of stoppers having a cork body which diameter size exceeds just about 0.5 to 3 mm the neck diameter of still wine bottles to be sealed, enables to keep the organoleptic attributes of wine while prevents wine leakage from bottles regardless its storing position.

  • Publication number: 20110108512
Abstract: Cork stopper comprising an upper member (1) or head and a lower member (2) or body which are integral into a single piece, wherein said head (1) has an height of at least about 8 mm and the body (2) is cylindrical and has a length of about 10 a 30 mm and diameter of about 21 to 26 mm. The head diameter must be larger than body diameter by at least about 3 mm. Said stopper, which may be chamfered and has at least one cork disk in any end thereof, may be used with wine and beverage containers and is able to be reused manually only.

  • Publication number: 20090211894
Abstract: The application of CORONA discharge is proposed in continuous and semi-continuous processes for the finishing of cotton, flax, cotton/flax blends or other cellulosic materials, either in form of yarns, woven or knitted fabrics, in order to obtain complete hidrophilization and an increase of reticulation potential. The goal is to achieve easier and uniform wetting and impregnation with treatment products and an improved adhesion of resins and binders. The operations where CORONA discharge is included are desizing, alkaline treatment, bleaching, caustification, mercerization, dyeing, printing and final finishing treatments, namely softening, hydrophilization, easy-care, anti-shrinkage and fireproofing. Discharge is continuously applied in open width materials with controlled humidity and temperature, in the stages of raw, desized, bleached or finished.

  • Patent number: 4343226
Abstract: In a press with two parallel, spaced apart multiple-acting cylinders that have their respective pistons connected to end portions of a beam to which a bending or forming tool is secured, the cylinders are respectively fed from effectively separate pressure fluid sources providing equal pressures and flow rates. For synchronization of piston extension through an initial rapid advance, the chamber of each cylinder that is normally pressurized for retraction of its piston is connected in feedback relation to the pressure fluid source for the other cylinder, so that fluid expelled from a leading cylinder augments the fluid supply to the lagging one. The system further comprises a pair of sensors, one for each beam end, and a synchronizing bleed-off valve for each sensor.
