Publication number: 20240113974Abstract: Mobile management method, system and client. Method includes receiving a DNS query for a host name from an application on client; retrieving reputation data associated with host name from a local cache on client; and determining a policy based on host name and the reputation data. Based on determined policy for the host name, blocking attempted network flows to a host corresponding to host name to produce blocked attempted network flows. Method also includes sending attempted network flow metadata related to the blocked attempted network flows to a collector on client; transmitting the attempted network flow metadata from the collector to a VPN server pool via a VPN tunnel; and producing an anomaly report from the transmitted attempted network flow metadata. The anomaly report includes at least one of anomalies, cohorts, trends, location boundaries, detected network security issues, detected compromised clients and/or optimized network usage.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 30, 2023Publication date: April 4, 2024Applicant: MOBILE SONIC, INC.Inventors: Joseph T. Patent number: 10223729Abstract: A high volume order management system is disclosed. Order capture and order processing are separated in order to allow the maximum number of orders to be captured during a short period of time. An order capture system is integrated with each website on which the product is offered. The system is comprised of a number of pods which are further comprised of order capture web pages, business rules and modules designed to capture orders as quickly as possible while still preventing fraudulent orders and providing the shopper with an expectation of whether the purchase attempt was successful. Orders are collected in a file and are subsequently processed by a global ecommerce system.Type: GrantFiled: July 22, 2013Date of Patent: March 5, 2019Assignee: Digital River, Inc.Inventors: Ryan Patrick Douglas, Samuel Fast Morris, Michael Edwin Olsen Borchert, Amit S Bartake, Sean Walbran, Glenn Aaron Stolar, Steven J Hardek

Publication number: 20150378418Abstract: Systems and methods for conserving power in a universal serial bus (USB) are disclosed. In one aspect, when a USB device enters a low power mode (e.g., U1 or U2), a clock associated with the USB device is modified to also enter a low power mode. Since the PIPE interface associated with the USB device still requires a clock signal, the low power clock mode must still be able to provide the PIPE interface with a clock signal. However, the clock signal to the PIPE interface does not need to be the same frequency or accuracy as the clock signal used by the USB interface. The modification to the clock changes the clock frequency to a low frequency compared to the normal clock frequency. By using a low frequency clock for the PIPE interface, power is conserved while preserving the functionality of the PIPE interface.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 26, 2014Publication date: December 31, 2015Inventors: Nir Gerber, Terrence Brian Remple, Russell Coleman Deans, Moshe Ben Shoshan, Glenn Aaron Murphy

Patent number: 6671542Abstract: A novel approach to measuring the overall and layer-by-layer thickness of in vivo skin tissue based on near infrared absorbance spectra is described. The different biological and chemical compounds present in the various layers of a tissue sample have differing absorbance spectra and scattering properties that enable them to be discerned and quantified, thus allowing an estimate of the thickness of the tissue being sampled. The method of the invention also yields the chemical composition of the absorbing and/or scattering species of each layer. Additionally, a method of path length normalization for the purpose of noninvasive analyte prediction on the basis of skin thickness and layer constituents is provided.Type: GrantFiled: September 5, 2002Date of Patent: December 30, 2003Assignee: Saensys Medical, Inc.Inventors: Jessica Rennert, Glenn Aaron Kees, Timothy L. Patent number: 6493566Abstract: Instrumentation and procedures for noninvasively determining the sex of human and animal subjects in vivo have been developed based on the irradiation of skin tissue with near infrared light. The method of sex determination provides additional information about primary sources of systematic tissue variability, namely, the thickness of the dermis and the subcutaneous fat. Categorization of subjects on the basis of the determination is therefore suitable for further spectral analysis and the measurement of biological and chemical compounds, such as blood analytes.Type: GrantFiled: January 19, 2000Date of Patent: December 10, 2002Assignee: Instrumentation Metrics, Inc.Inventors: Timothy L. Patent number: 6411373Abstract: The invention provides a design process that is used in the determination of the pattern of detector and illumination optical fibers at the sampling area of a subject. Information about the system, specifically a monochromator (e.g. to determine the optimal number of fibers at an output slit) and the bundle termination at a detector optics stack (e.g. to determine the optimal number of fibers at the bundle termination), is of critical importance to this design. It is those numbers that determine the ratio and number of illumination to detection fibers, significantly limiting and constraining the solution space. Additional information about the estimated signal and noise in the skin is necessary to maximize the signal-to-noise ratio in the wavelength range of interest. Constraining the fibers to a hexagonal perimeter and prescribing a hex-packed pattern, such that alternating columns contain illumination and detection fibers, yields optimal results.Type: GrantFiled: October 8, 1999Date of Patent: June 25, 2002Assignee: Instrumentation Metrics, Inc.Inventors: Jeffrey J.
