  • Publication number: 20240048890
Abstract: Earphones intended for being worn in the ear canal (in-ear headphones) usually contain an ear pad, which the user may exchange for other ear pads of different sizes. Also earmolds, which are alternatively useable, can easily be exchanged. The ear pad or earmold can be mounted on a receptacle of the earphone. For mechanically or acoustically adjusting the frequency response of the earphone, the ear pad or earmold has at least one cavity. When the ear pad or earmold is mounted on the earphone's receptacle, the cavity is acoustically connected with the sound channel of the ear pad or earmold and is adapted for acting as an acoustic resonator, in particular as a Helmholtz resonator, in the audible frequency range.

  • Publication number: 20230414184
Abstract: A breast rest for a mammography device includes a front panel on a patient-facing side of the breast rest and a top panel having a concavity configured to accommodate a breast of a patient. A transition from the front panel to the top panel can be curved. The breast rest can be included in the mammography device. The breast rest can further include side panels. The breast rest can further include an open end to receive a breast test instrument. Multiple sizes and/or shapes of the breast rest can be provided and selected from based on patient data. Breast rests can be manufactured for particular patients having sizes and/or shapes determined from patient data.

  • Publication number: 20230337179
Abstract: To automatically determine geographic positions of signal sources statically disposed along a path in a geographic area with limited satellite coverage, a system generates an initial estimate of the geographic positions of the signal sources. To this end, the system receives signal data collected by a receiver moving along the path, the signal data being indicative of changes, over a period of time, in strength of respective signals emitted by the signal sources and detected by the receiver and, and generates an initial estimate of the geographic positions of the signal sources using the signal data and an average speed at which the receiver moves along the path. The system then revises the initial estimate of the geographic positions of the plurality of signal sources by determining, for a signal source associated with a segment of the path, a segment-specific average speed of the receiver.

  • Patent number: 11683784
Abstract: To automatically determine geographic positions of signal sources in areas with limited satellite coverage, a system receives signal data collected by a receiver moving along a path through a geographic area with limited satellite coverage, the signal data being indicative of changes, over a period of time, in strength of respective signals detected by the moving receiver and emitted by multiple signal sources statically disposed along the path. The system determines a time it takes for a length of a vehicle to pass by the signal source at the determined speed. The system then calculates static positions of the signal sources using the signal data and the determined time, including associating the location of each signal source with a time when the signal source was directly over the roof of the vehicle in which the moving receiver is travelling.

  • Patent number: 11472508
Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide container mounts for mounting water bottles, bento boxes, tool holders or other containers in an aerodynamic position. According to one embodiment, the container mount can include an attachment member to attach to the bicycle frame or aerobars. One or more container support members are coupled to the attachment member in a fixed orientation or in a manner that allows the position of the support member to be adjusted. The container mounts can be configured so that the container is positioned within the aerodynamic profile of the rider's torso between the rider's arms (when viewed from the front) and is accessible by the rider while the rider maintains aerodynamic form.

  • Patent number: 11463983
Abstract: In a geographic area with limited satellite coverage, multiple signal sources are statically disposed along a path through the geographic area. To automatically determine geographic positions of the signal sources, signal data collected by a receiver moving along the path is received, where the signal data indicates changes, over a period of time, in strength of respective signals emitted by the signal sources. Indications of a first position of the receiver at a first time prior to entering the geographic area and a second position of the receiver at a second time subsequent to leaving the geographic area are received, and positions for the signal sources are determined using the received signal data and the received indications of the positions and the times. The determined positions for the signal sources are used to geoposition a device moving along the path.

  • Patent number: 11303652
Abstract: Embodiments for generating appropriate data sets for learning to identify user actions. A user uses one or more applications over a suitable period of time. As the user uses the applications, a monitoring device, acting as a “man-in-the-middle,” intermediates the exchange of encrypted communication between the applications and the servers that serve the applications. The monitoring device obtains, for each action performed by the user, two corresponding (bidirectional) flows of communication: an encrypted flow, and an unencrypted flow. Since the unencrypted flow indicates the type of action that was performed by the user, the correspondence between the encrypted flow and the unencrypted flow may be used to automatically label the encrypted flow, without decrypting the encrypted flow. Features of the encrypted communication may then be stored in association with the label to automatically generate appropriately-sized learning set for each application of interest.
