  • Publication number: 20240142516
Abstract: A multispectral inspection (MSI) device for analyzing an electronic item having a printed circuit board (PCB). An electronic power supply powers the electronic item in accordance with one or more test vectors. An optical imaging scanner, terahertz (THz) imaging scanner, and a functional imaging scanner are each operative to scan the electronic item. An electronic processor is programmed to scan the various scanners and control the power supply to acquire optical, THz, and functional images of the electronic item. The images are combined to form a standard three-dimensional (3D) signature and artificial intelligence (AI) classifiers are applied to the 3D signature to perform non-destructive analyses of the electronic item.

  • Patent number: 11952767
Abstract: Individual four-sided shaped modules used in an assembly for underground storage of storm water and other fluid storage needs. Modules are assembled into a resultant four-sided tiling shape for maximized structural strength and material use efficiency. Internal four-sided shaped modules are assembled and encased by external four-sided shaped modules. Internal adjacent modules are in direct fluid communications with one another through a channel-less chamber. Internal four-sided shaped modules drain into four-sided shaped modules chamber where fluid is either stored or drained. Assemblies include various top and side pieces along with access ports for entry into said assembly.

  • Publication number: 20240100661
Abstract: A torque wrench includes an elongated body, a head, and a cantilever beam. The body extends longitudinally from a proximal end to a distal end and includes a channel extending therethrough. The distal end includes an opening extending laterally therethrough along a central axis. The head is rotatably received within the opening at the distal end so that the head is rotatable about the axis. The head includes a gear cam defining teeth about a periphery thereof and an engaging portion sized, shaped, and configured to engage a corresponding engaging feature of a fixation device. The beam is housed within the channel such that a distal tip is received in a space between adjacent teeth. The beam bends when a torsional force applied to the head exceeds a predetermined limit so that the cam rotates about the axis and the distal tip slips from the space between the teeth into an adjacent space.

  • Patent number: 11926548
Abstract: A horizontal flow water treatment method and wetland biofilter system with improved flow control via a tubular apparatus and further comprising a chamber with impermeable outer walls spaced away from permeable interior walls of a media filtration bed such that a catch basin is formed between the outer walls and the interior walls. The catch basin creates an open area around the perimeter of the interior walls for influent water to fill within the open area on all sides before penetrating the filtration media, providing a large surface area for influent water to interact with the media filtration bed. The influent water enters the catch basin in a horizontal flow path to provide for pre-settling of particulates before making contact with the filtration media. The biofilter design increases the available surface area of the media filtration bed by up to four times for a given volume of water, and thereby minimizes the loading or infiltration rate on the media filtration bed.

  • Publication number: 20240048374
Abstract: Rekeying an Information Handling System (IHS) network End-to-End Efficient Encryption (E2EEE) with security chaining includes locking an encrypted data volume, preventing reading of, and writing to, the encrypted data volume by applications. A data source IHS may request a new key from a key management system and write new metadata in a trailer of the encrypted data block using a different key slot than a currently used and active metadata key slot, wherein the different key slot is updated with the with the new key. The data source IHS then sends an out-of-data signal to change the use key slot from the currently used key slot to the different key slot. Thereafter, the data source IHS unlocks the encrypted data volume, enabling writing and/or reading user data by the data source IHS and encryption and decryption in all IHS E2EEE data connection segment interfaces.

  • Publication number: 20240037043
Abstract: In end-to-end efficient encryption with security chaining a data source Information Handling System (IHS) encrypts a data volume, generates and updates metadata in a trailer of the data volume, and generates and updates out-of-band handshake signals indicating an encryption key use slot in the metadata. Data connection segments each include a left-bound interface of one IHS and a right-bound interface of another. Each interface performs synchronous data volume write-encrypt and read-decrypt functions on the data volume in an IHS, perform in-band encryption metadata processing, process out-of-band control signals, and execute an encryption configuration state machine, which uses the metadata and control signals as input to direct write-encrypt and read-decrypt functions on the data volume in the segment.

  • Publication number: 20240039704
Abstract: Enabling End-to-End Efficient Encryption (E2EEE) with security chaining in an Information Handling System (IHS) network includes: a data source IHS writing metadata containing a key slot, in a trailer of a data block and sending an out-of-band signal to use the key slot; an IHS security chaining logic regenerates the signal to each next IHS E2EEE data connection segment interface; and an encryption configuration state machine of each interface setting a use slot and an active slot to the key slot, in response to the signal. Disabling E2EEE with security chaining includes: the data source IHS sending an out-of-band signal to not use a key slot; the IHS security chaining logic regenerating the signal to each next interface; and the state machine of each interface changing the state machine state to not use a key slot and to not set an active key slot, in response to the signal.

  • Patent number: 11627991
Abstract: A bone fixation clamp includes a first clamp assembly, a second clamp assembly, an inner locking member, and an outer locking assembly. The first and second clamp assemblies are transitionable between open and closed configurations. The inner locking member is transitionable between a locked position and an unlocked position. In the locked position the inner locking member engages the first clamp assembly substantially preventing the first clamp assembly from transitioning from the closed configuration to the open configuration. The outer locking assembly is transitionable between a locked position and an unlocked position. In the locked position the outer locking assembly engages the first clamp assembly and the second clamp assembly substantially preventing both the first clamp assembly from transitioning from the closed configuration to the open configuration and the second clamp assembly from transitioning from the closed configuration to the open configuration.
