  • Patent number: 11996652
Abstract: An edge connector on a printed circuit board (“PCB”) uses a magnetic force to retain the PCB connected to another connector and to reduce the insertion force. In an example embodiment, a male edge connector includes a first magnetic connector and a female connector includes a second magnetic connector. A first force of attraction between the first magnetic connector and the second magnetic connector holds the male edge connector inserted into the female connector. The first force of attraction further reduces the force required to insert the male edge connector into the female connector.

  • Patent number: 11996680
Abstract: An antimicrobial switch panel (ASP) system/method allowing for retrofit of existing switch panels with protective antimicrobial covers for toggle switch levers is disclosed. The disclosed system incorporates a toggle switch cover (TSC) formed from a plastic molded extrusion (PME) that is impregnated with an antimicrobial compound (AMC). The PME includes an outer tactile surface (OTS) and an inner capture recess (ICR). The ICR is configured to conform to the outer surface of a toggle switch (TSW) toggle switch lever (TSL) and includes one or surfaces more configured with protrusions and/or indentations that affect mechanical coupling between the TSL and the PME when the ICR is mated with the TSL. The OTS may be configured with a variety of tactile configurations that identify the function of the TSW and/or include a PME colorant that identifies the function of the TSW and/or provide for photoluminescent operation of the PME.

  • Patent number: 11996234
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a magnetic coupling system to improve stability at low magnetic docking forces, such as docking between a hand held device (102) and its base (104), where the hand held device and the base each contain a magnet (112, 108) with the same direction of polarity, arranged so that the two magnets attract each other when the hand held device is docked to the base. An auxiliary magnet (114) is included in the magnetic coupling system. In one example, the auxiliary magnet may be arranged within the hand held device at a predetermined distance from the other magnet within the hand held device and is arranged with polarity in the opposite directions as the other two magnets. In another example, the auxiliary magnet may be arranged within the base at a predetermined distance from the other magnet within the base and is arranged with polarity in the opposite direction as the other two magnets.

  • Patent number: 11996804
Abstract: A photovoltaic (PV) system can include a plurality of PV modules and circuitry configured to receive an indication of a status of the PV system and to, in response to the indication, determine whether to switch between a first state in which the PV modules output DC power and a second state in which the PV modules do not output power.

  • Patent number: 11994343
Abstract: Provided is a multi-part lyophilization container for lyophilizing a fluid, storing the lyophilizate, reconstituting the lyophilizate, and infusing the reconstituted lyophilizate into a patient, including a method of using same. The container includes a front surface, a back surface, a non-breathable section including a port region, a breathable section including a breathable membrane, and a peelable region including a peelable seal encompassing a boundary between the non-breathable section and the breathable section. The method includes inputting a fluid into a non-breathable section of the container, freezing the fluid, applying, in a lyophilization chamber, vacuum pressure, opening the peelable seal using a pressure differential, applying heat energy, sublimating the fluid and creating a temporary occlusion in a peelable region of the container.

  • Patent number: 11995728
Abstract: A luminaire selection and architectural design platform can provide improved access and interaction with luminaire information in the industrial lighting and architectural industry. The luminaire platform, which manages and generates dynamic data including multi-attribute information related to a variety of luminaires, can receive a request comprising luminaire information and user type; and determine one or more luminaires satisfying one or more criterion with respect to the luminaire information. The luminaire platform can determine a set of attributes based on user type (e.g., attributes a user can access based on user type). The luminaire platform can obtain attributes of the set of attributes for each of the one or more luminaires; and provide the one or more luminaires and the associated set of attributes for display.

  • Patent number: 11994793
Abstract: Various embodiments include a camera having one or more end stop bumpers. In some embodiments, the end stop bumper(s) may be at least partially disposed between a suspension platform of a camera and a lateral end stop defined by a stationary structure of the camera. The end stop bumper(s) may be configured to cushion movement of the suspension platform as the suspension platform approaches the lateral end stop. In some embodiments, the end stop bumper(s) may be part of a suspension spring structure coupled to the suspension platform.

  • Patent number: 11992263
Abstract: A hair cutting device for cutting hair on a body of a subject includes a light source for generating laser light at one or more specific wavelengths corresponding to wavelengths absorbed by one or more chromophores in hair; and a cutting element that has an optical waveguide that is coupled to the light source to receive laser light. A portion of a side wall of the optical waveguide forms a cutting face for contacting hair where, at least at the cutting face, the optical waveguide has a refractive index that is equal to or lower than the refractive index of hair and higher than the refractive index of skin.

  • Patent number: 11995513
Abstract: A second problem Hamiltonian may replace a first problem Hamiltonian during evolution of an analog processor (e.g., quantum processor) during a first iteration in solving a first problem. This may be repeated during a second, or further successive iterations on the first problem, following re-initialization of the analog processor. An analog processor may evolve under a first non-monotonic evolution schedule during a first iteration, and second non-monotonic evolution schedule under second, or additional non-monotonic evolution schedule under even further iterations. A first graph and second graph may each be processed to extract final states versus a plurality of evolution schedules, and a determination made as to whether the first graph is isomorphic with respect to the second graph. An analog processor may evolve by decreasing a temperature of, and a set of quantum fluctuations, within the analog processor until the analog processor reaches a state preferred by a problem Hamiltonian.
