The method includes: receiving a data packet of a terminal device, where the data packet carries a first token and a service identifier, and the service identifier is used to indicate a type of a service to which the data packet belongs; obtaining first input information based on the data packet, and generating a second token based on the first input information, where the first input information includes an identifier of the terminal device and the service identifier carried in the data packet; and sending the data packet when the first token is the same as the second token.

Abstract: This disclosure provides a device monitoring method and apparatus and a deregistration method and apparatus. The device monitoring apparatus has a capability of obtaining signaling plane data exchanged between a core network element and a terminal device, and after obtaining the signaling plane data, the device monitoring apparatus can determine, by analyzing attribute information of the signaling plane data, a device that may initiate a DoS attack.

The method includes: receiving, by an access network device, a first identifier that is from a terminal device, where the first identifier is used to identify the terminal device; and if the first identifier matches a second identifier, restricting, by the access network device, access of the terminal device, where the second identifier is used to identify a terminal device having abnormal behavior. Based on the solution, the access network device pre-records the second identifier of the terminal device having the abnormal behavior.

In one example method, when a handover fails, a terminal reverts back to a source configuration, and obtains a selected cell. The terminal sends a connection reestablishment request to a selected radio access network device. The terminal receives a first message from the selected radio access network device, where the first message includes indication information used to indicate to derive an access network key based on a core network key. The terminal obtains a first core network key based on the indication information, and derives a first access network key based on the first core network key. The terminal communicates with the selected radio access network device by using the first access network key.

Abstract: This application provides a key derivation algorithm negotiation method and an apparatus. The method includes: checking, by a terminal, a sent first key derivation algorithm and a received second key derivation algorithm; if the checking is correct and the first key derivation algorithm is the same as the second key derivation algorithm, determining that the first key derivation algorithm sent by the terminal is not tampered with by an attacker; and then using a negotiated third key derivation algorithm as a key derivation algorithm of the terminal, to ensure confidentiality of the negotiated key derivation algorithm, thereby improving communication security.

In the method, when a terminal moves to a target base station, the target base station may reselect, based on a capability and a requirement of the target base station, a first encryption algorithm and a first integrity protection algorithm that are used when the target base station communicates with the terminal, and send the first encryption algorithm and the first integrity protection algorithm to the terminal. On one hand, a security algorithm used for communication between the terminal and the target base station is flexibly selected. On the other hand, because the base station connected to the terminal changes, communication security can be improved by using a new encryption algorithm and integrity protection algorithm.

Abstract: A communication method and apparatus are provided, to implement automatic onboarding when no network-side information is configured on a terminal device. The method includes: The terminal device obtains auxiliary authentication information that includes identification information of one or more networks; determines access information of a first network based on first temporary authentication information and identification information of the first network, where the first network is any one of the one or more networks; triggers mutual temporary authentication with the first network based on the access information of the first network; and receives configuration information of the first network from the first network when the mutual temporary authentication succeeds. The terminal device may trigger the mutual temporary authentication with the first network based on the access information of the first network.
