Patent number: 11935887Abstract: Integrated circuit structures having source or drain structures with vertical trenches are described. In an example, an integrated circuit structure includes a fin having a lower fin portion and an upper fin portion. A gate stack is over the upper fin portion of the fin, the gate stack having a first side opposite a second side. A first source or drain structure includes an epitaxial structure embedded in the fin at the first side of the gate stack. A second source or drain structure includes an epitaxial structure embedded in the fin at the second side of the gate stack. The epitaxial structures of the first and second source or drain structures have a vertical trench centered therein. The first and second source or drain structures include silicon and a Group V dopant impurity.Type: GrantFiled: March 28, 2019Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Assignee: Intel CorporationInventors: Ryan Keech, Nicholas Minutillo, Anand Murthy, Aaron Budrevich, Peter Wells

Patent number: 11481972Abstract: The method of performing dendrometry and forest mapping utilizes a stereoscopic camera system, coupled with a machine vision system, to determine the diameters at breast height of selected trees in a forest, based solely on calculations performed from recorded digital image data, as well as to generate a map showing the coordinates and calculated diameters of the selected trees in the forest. A ground plane is first determined, and then bounding box coordinates are generated about selected tree stems of the recorded images. The bounding boxes are evolved to determine stem edges of the selected tree stems, and the diameter of each tree at breast height is then determined. Geographic location data is acquired for each tree, allowing a map to be generated which shows the location of each selected tree, along with a tag representative of geolocation data and corresponding diameter data.Type: GrantFiled: January 16, 2019Date of Patent: October 25, 2022Assignees: UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AS REPRESENTED BY THE SECRETARY OF AGRICULTURE, OREGON STATE UNIVERSITYInventors: Edward Carl Messerlie, Jenny Perth, Lucas Aaron Wells, Woodam Chung

Patent number: 10913086Abstract: Wind speed, wind direction, and field boundary information are detected and used to identify a monitor area indicative of a likely overspray condition. Control signals are generated to obtain information from a sprayed substance sensor, in the monitor area. When an overspray condition is detected, an overspraying signal from the sprayed substance sensor indicating the detected overspray condition is received and overspray processing is performed, based upon the received overspray signal.Type: GrantFiled: January 9, 2018Date of Patent: February 9, 2021Assignee: Deere & CompanyInventors: Mark E. Publication number: 20110187393Abstract: A moisture detection sensor self-adhesive tape is used in a building structure to detect moisture penetration and includes a substrate of dielectric, hydrophobic material. Two elongate, parallel, conductors are secured to the top surface of the substrate and a protective layer of non-hygroscopic, water pervious material secured to the to the top surface of the substrate, over the conductors. A pressure sensitive mounting adhesive is placed on a bottom surface of the substrate and covered with a release sheet. The sensor may include moisture probes adapted to penetrate the protective layer, the respective conductors and the substrate and to extend into a building component to which the substrate has been adhered. The preferred moisture probe is a U-shaped metal staple configured to be driven in by a conventional power stapler.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 11, 2010Publication date: August 4, 2011Inventors: David E.
