  • Publication number: 20140074604
Abstract: The present invention provides systems and methods for facilitating the creation and management of marketing campaigns, as well as the delivery of advertisements associated with those campaigns. Some embodiments provide a Mobile Marketing Platform (“MMP”) configured to determine an audience profile based on received marketing campaign information (e.g., delivery time, demographic information, ad copy). The determined audience profile describes a market segment that is expected or predicted to respond positively to the marketing campaign. The MMP then receives an indication that a particular user is accessing a resource (e.g., content item, Web site, mobile application). The MMP then compares the attributes of the user (e.g., demographics, location, device type) with multiple stored audience profiles and select the audience profile that best matches the user and his associated attributes. The MMP then serves an advertisement of the marketing campaign associated with the selected audience profile.

  • Publication number: 20030197606
Abstract: A rear light warning system for vehicles to indicate to drivers of trailing vehicles that the leading vehicle is slowing down, moving slow or stopping to reduce the likelihood of rear-end collisions. The system has rearwardly illuminating warning lights attached to the rear of the vehicle, a speed sensor and an integrated circuit, all of which are independent of the brake or accelerator pedals. The speed sensor determines the relative speed of the vehicle and the integrated circuit compares the electrical signal with that for a predetermined minimum base speed level. If the vehicle is traveling at less than the base speed level, then the warning lights are activated. The speed sensor can determine the relative speed by measuring the rotation of the wheel, rotation of an inner cable in a mechanical speedometer cable, a signal from an electronic speedometer or sensing a reflective wavelength off the ground.

  • Patent number: 4028490
Abstract: Baudot code characters each having start and stop bits are transmitted in the form of a MSK digital data signal having a stop-start triangle corresponding to adjacent stop and start bits of two adjacent Baudot characters. The MSK signal is correlated with MSK correlation waveforms to produce first and second correlation signals. Each of the first and second correlation signals are coupled to a different one of two delay lines each having three output taps separated by one bit time. The output signals from the output taps at a given time are appropriately summed to provide inphase and quadrature triangle signals. These triangle signals are operated on by an arithmetic unit to calculate many time and phase conditions of the MSK signal at one time and to produce third, fourth and fifth correlation signals as a function of assumed bit times.

  • Patent number: 4020283
Abstract: An input MSK digital data signal is correlated with MSK correlation waveforms to produce first and second correlation signals. These first and second correlation signals are operated on by an arithmetic unit to calculate many time and phase conditions of the MSK digital data signal at one time and to produce third, fourth and fifth correlation signals as a function of assumed bit times. These third, fourth and fifth correlation signals are operated on by a ratio calculator to produce a ratio signal proportional to the ratio of a minimum magnitude squared to a maximum magnitude squared for all carrier phase angles for each of the assumed bit times. A synchronization detected signal is produced when the value of the ratio signal is less than a given amplitude threshold.

  • Patent number: 3992617
Abstract: The MSK signal is distributed to eight choppers, each of which also has coupled thereto a different sum or difference cosine or sum or difference sine chopping signal. The output signals from the choppers are summed in selected pairs in summers whose output signals are integrated over a predetermined number of unit time intervals. Coupled between four of the summers and four of the associated integrators there is an integrated time selector which enables adjusting the integrator output for different baud rates of the MSK signal input. The output signals of the integrators are coupled in pairs of multiplexers whose output signals in turn are coupled to sample and hold circuits. The output signals of the sample and hold circuits are coupled to another multiplexer whose output signal is coupled to an analog-to-digital converter to provide the data carried by the MSK signal in digital form.

  • Patent number: 3983495
Abstract: This generator generates COS(w.sub.o + w.sub.m)t, SIN(w.sub.o + w.sub.m)t, COS(w.sub.o - w.sub.m)t and SIN(w.sub.o - w.sub.m)t square wave waveforms. This is accomplished by inserting into a carrier square wave clock pulse stream one pulse with the cooperation of a modulation square wave clock in a first signal channel and by deleting from the carrier square wave clock pulse stream one pulse with the cooperation of the modulation square wave clock in a second signal channel. The resultant pulse stream in the first signal channel is suitably divided in a first binary divider and then further divided by a factor of two in a second binary divider to generate the COS(w.sub.o + w.sub.m)t waveform. The complement of the output waveform of the first binary divider is further divided by a factor of two in a third binary divider to generate the SIN(w.sub.o + w.sub.m)t waveform. The resultant pulse stream in the second signal channel is similarly operated on to generate the COS(w.sub.o - w.sub.m)t and SIN(w.sub.o - w.
