  • Patent number: 11839887
Abstract: A hydraulic spray nozzle, a hydroseeding system and a method of dispersing bulk material with a hydraulic spray nozzle. The hydraulic spray nozzle may further include one or more of an inlet, a diffuser cone, an expansion chamber, one or more interior surface vanes, a converging nozzle and an outlet that fluidly cooperate with one another in order to increase the dispersal distance of the bulk material as it exits the hydraulic spray nozzle. In one form, the hydraulic spray nozzle is incorporated into a hydroseeding system or other bulk material dispersing system in order to apply seeds, mulch, fertilizer or related bulk materials over large swaths of land.

  • Publication number: 20210352838
Abstract: An electric-powered bulk material dispersing system and method of use. The electric power is provided by a battery system with one or more electric motors to replace traditional internal combustion engines. The electric motor or motors are used to provide pressure to one or more pumps that may be used in conjunction with various tubes, hoses or related conduit and spray nozzles in order to disperse a bulk material such as seed, mulch, compost, chipped wood, grain, hay, fertilizer, herbicide, pesticide, plastic pellets, salt, sand or the like that has been combined or suspended within a fluent material. In one form, the bulk material dispersing system may be used as a bulk hydroseeder.

  • Patent number: 6510930
Abstract: A vibration damper for a motor vehicle includes an inner tube concentrically aligned within an outer housing. A piston shaft having a piston attached at an end thereof is slidably inserted into the inner housing. A support ring encloses the inner housing defining a pumping chamber inside the inner housing. The piston shaft is inserted through the support ring. The support ring includes a seal cover having an inner surface with a rim. A rod guide is inserted into the seal cover and abuts the rim. The rod guide guides the shaft through the support ring and provides lateral support to the shaft. A retainer sleeve is secured to the rod guide having the rim disposed between the rod guide and the retainer sleeve securing the rod guide to the retainer sleeve.

  • Patent number: 6386343
Abstract: A piston assembly for magneto rheological (MR) fluid vibration damper affixed to a suspension system includes a piston that strokes inside a housing to dampen vibrations. The piston includes a core affixed to a piston shaft. An electric coil is affixed to the core and is coaxially aligned with the piston shaft. A sleeve circumscribes the piston core having a wall with a first inner diameter. An annular fluid passage is formed between the sleeve and the core. Fluid passes through the annular passage when the piston strokes inside the damper. The wall includes a channel having a second inner diameter greater than the first inner diameter. The channel reduces resistance to the piston from the MR fluid derived from temperature induced viscosity variations.
