Abstract: The present invention relates to a preferably computer-implemented method of raising a group of monogastric animals Issues such as exposure of the animals to an initiator of a disease are recognized at an early stage by ex vivo analysis of blood samples. Said analysis is done where the animals are raised using point-of-care devices. Accuracy of separation between affected and non-affected animals is increased by measuring a set of pre-determined blood parameters. The landless monogastric animal production system of the invention facilitates implementation of the method of the invention.

Abstract: Among other things, advertisements are received for brands or products of brands. Criteria for placement of the advertisements are received at online retail sites. The online retail sites are controlled independently from one another. Inventory data for the products at the online retail sites is received and stored. Data about propensities of the consumers to favor one or more of the brands or one or more products of the brands, from activities of consumers on the online retail sites, is stored. Activity data about current activities of the consumers on the online retail sites is received. One or more of the advertisements are placed on pages served to the online retail sites based on the placement data, the inventory data, the propensity data, and the activity data. Conversion data is received indicating that consumers engaged in conversion events with respect to products associated with the brands or products of brands being advertised.

Abstract: A clip, system and methods for affixing a conduit to a surface includes a flexible strap having an integrally connected shoulder with a passageway configured to receive a fastener to secure the shoulder and clip to a surface of an object such as a stud, the shoulder positioned at a first end portion of the strap, the strap having an opposite free end, and a head integrally connected to the strap at a terminal end of the first end portion, the strap being flexible between the head and the shoulder, the head having a strap-receiving passage configured to receive the strap to form a loop. The clip is connected to the surface and the loop is tightened around the conduit to secure the conduit to the surface.

Abstract: A spool holding device configured to fold upon itself in a storage mode and to support a spool of wound material in an operation mode. The device includes a base upon which a pair of feet, a pair of legs, a hoop segment and a horizontal axis are detachably connected for quick set-up and take-down of the device. The hoop segment is positioned a clearance distance from the horizontal axis and includes a wide hoop through which the wound material may pass such that unwinding of the material without undue force is achieved; the hoop also includes a contact surface having a large bend radius.
