  • Patent number: 9845794
Abstract: A diaphragm pump may comprise a housing defining a first pumping chamber, a second pumping chamber, and a hydraulic fluid chamber, a first flexible diaphragm separating the first pumping chamber from the hydraulic fluid chamber, a second flexible diaphragm separating the second pumping chamber from the hydraulic fluid chamber, a rod mechanically linking the first flexible diaphragm and the second flexible diaphragm such that an expansion of one of the first and second flexible diaphragms exerts a contraction force on the other of the first and second flexible diaphragms, and a piston disposed within the hydraulic fluid chamber and configured to reciprocate to cause a hydraulic fluid contained within the hydraulic fluid chamber to alternately exert an expansion force on the first and second flexible diaphragms.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 9434056
Abstract: Illustrative embodiments of impact tools having pressure verification and/or adjustment systems are disclosed. According to at least one illustrative embodiment, an impact tool may comprise a housing, an impact mechanism supported in the housing, a motor supported in the housing, and a pressure probe coupled to the housing. The impact mechanism may be configured to drive rotation of an output shaft about a first axis, the motor may be configured to drive the impact mechanism when energized, and the pressure probe may be configured to couple to a valve of a motor vehicle tire to measure an air pressure of the motor vehicle tire.

  • Patent number: 9222528
Abstract: In at least one illustrative embodiment, a clutch may comprise an outer race, an inner race, and an engagement assembly disposed in a space located radially between the outer and inner races. The engagement assembly may comprise a plurality of locking members and a biasing shoe frictionally engaged with one of the outer race and the inner race. The locking members may be configured to move with the biasing shoe within the space between an unlocked position, in which the locking members are free to move relative to the outer race and to the inner race, and a locked position, in which the locking members are wedged between the outer and inner races to couple the outer and inner races for rotation together.
