Abstract: A hair treating apparatus having a first component with opposite first and second sides. The first side is engageable by a first finger on a user's hand. A second component has opposite third and fourth sides. The third side is engageable by a second finger on the user's hand. The hair treating apparatus is operatively positioned with: a) the user's first finger engaging the first side and the user's second finger engaging the third side; and b) an accumulation of elongate hair strands between the second and fourth sides. The first and second components can be manipulated by movement of the user's first and second fingers to cause the second and fourth sides to move selectively towards each other to engage the accumulation of hair strands and away from each other. The operatively positioned hair treating apparatus can be drawn lengthwise of an engaged accumulation of hair strands to thereby controllably apply additive.

Abstract: A wig having a body with an inside surface for engaging a user's head and an outside surface. The outside surface has hair strands projecting therefrom. The body is placeable in an operative position on the user's head to cover at least a portion of the user's scalp so that the projecting strands give the appearance of natural hair. Through securing structure, the body is reconfigured to allow at least a part of the body to be borne against the user's head with a selectively variable pressure with the body in the operative position.

The band is configured to extend around the user's head to overlie a scalp region extending from the user's forehead to behind each of the user's ears leaving an open top at which the user's scalp is exposed with the wig operatively positioned. The user's natural hair, if any exists, can be blended with the strands on the body with the wig operatively positioned.
