  • Patent number: 11866643
Abstract: A method for removing liquid buildup in gas wells may include introducing a first aqueous solution and a second aqueous solution into the wellbore such that the first aqueous solution and the second aqueous solution may intermix within the wellbore. The first aqueous solution may contain a nitrogen-containing compound and the second aqueous solution may contain a nitrite-containing compound and a foaming agent. The method may further include maintaining the intermixed solution in the wellbore such that gas, heat, and foam may be generated, and removing the excess fluid from the wellbore. Furthermore, the method may include introducing an acid or acid precursor into the wellbore, releasing an acid from the acid precursor into the intermixed solution, and maintaining the acid with the intermixed solution in the wellbore to adjusted the pH of the intermixed solution to less than 7.0.

  • Patent number: 11814581
Abstract: An acid mixture includes hydrochloric acid, a monoamine corrosion inhibitor, and at least one of a diamine corrosion inhibitor and an acid additive. A method for inhibiting corrosion in an acid treatment operation includes introducing an acid mixture comprising hydrochloric acid and a monoamine corrosion inhibitor into at least one of a subterranean formation and subterranean wellbore. The method also includes maintaining the amount of the monoamine corrosion inhibitor in the acid mixture in the subterranean formation and/or the subterranean wellbore in a range of 10 ppm to 400 ppm for the duration of the acid treatment operation. The corrosion rate of steel parts of an acidic fluid circulation system in the acid mixture may be within an acceptable corrosion rate in a temperature range of 20° C. to 135° C.

  • Patent number: 11739259
Abstract: A method of stimulating a hydrocarbon-bearing formation may include generating a foamed fracturing fluid having a half-life of 160 to 300 min at 77° F. The foamed fracturing fluid may comprise a fluorosurfactant, a nanoparticle, and a gas phase. The method may then include introducing the foamed fracturing fluid into a hydrocarbon-bearing formation under a pressure greater than the fracturing pressure of the hydrocarbon-bearing formation to generate fractures in the hydrocarbon-bearing formation. Another method of stimulating a hydrocarbon-bearing formation may include introducing a foaming composition into the hydrocarbon-bearing formation under a pressure greater than fracturing pressure of the hydrocarbon-bearing formation to generate fractures in the hydrocarbon-bearing formation. The foaming composition may include a fluorosurfactant, a nanoparticle, and a gas phase. The method then may include generating a foam from the foaming composition inside the hydrocarbon-bearing formation.
