    Abstract: An apparatus and method for purification of air, is disclosed. The apparatus includes: (a) a mist generator, is configured to generate water micro droplets, (b) a charging chamber, is configured to transfer electric charges to the micro droplets, (c) an interacting space is configured to act as a physical barrier and provide sufficient space for adsorption of air pollutants, (d) a collecting chamber is configured to collect the contaminated micro droplets and convert them to a liquid form, (e) and a water recycling section, is configured to remove the contaminations and provide a usable clean water for the mist generator. The collecting chamber of the apparatus is incorporated with a plastic grid enhanced with surface modified nanofibers to promote the micro droplet collecting efficiency. Further, a method of fabricating a plastic grid enhanced with surface modified nanofibers for an air purifier apparatus is also disclosed.

The device comprises three separable chambers such as, a basal chamber, a mid-chamber and a top chamber. The basal chamber with an inlet and an outlet, is incorporated with a main sensitive component i.e. flexible magnetic assembly along flow path of a fluid that enter from the inlet and exit from the outlet of the basal chamber. The mid-chamber comprises a magnetic sensor, placed over the flexible magnetic assembly is configured to sense the changes in magnetization value. The top chamber comprises a processor and a display unit, is configured to process, convert and display the magnetization value. Further, a method of fabricating flexible magnetic assembly for a flow rate measurement device is also disclosed.

    Abstract: Provided is a method for synthesizing a ceramic-based catalyst including the steps of: purifying a ceramic foam by immersing the ceramic foam in hot water to form a clean substrate; activating the clean substrate by immersing the clean substrate in an etching solution to form an activated substrate; forming a first metal layer onto the activated substrate to form a metal-loaded substrate; and substituting the first metal layer with a noble metal layer by immersing the metal-loaded substrate in an acidic solution including a noble metal precursor to yield the ceramic-based noble metal catalyst.
