  • Publication number: 20240112703
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for seamless insertion of modified media content. In one embodiment, a modified portion of video content is received. The modified portion has a start cue point and an end cue point that are set relative to a modification to the video content to indicate respectively when the modification approximately begins and ends compared to the video content. A video coding associated with the video content is identified. The start cue point and/or the end cue point are dynamically adjusted to align the modified portion with the video content based at least in part on the video coding.

  • Publication number: 20240112469
Abstract: Example implementations include a method, apparatus and computer-readable medium for computer vision detection of a fall event, comprising detecting a person in a first image captured at a first time. The implementations further include identifying a plurality of keypoints on the person in an image, wherein the plurality of keypoints, when connected, indicate a pose of the person. Additionally, the implementations further include detecting, using the plurality of keypoints, that the person has fallen in response to determining that, subsequent to the pose being the standing pose in a previous image, the keypoints of the plurality of keypoints associated with the shoulders of the person are higher than the keypoints of the second plurality of keypoints associated with the eyes and the ears of the person in the second image. Additionally, the implementations further include generating an alert indicating that the person has fallen.

  • Patent number: 11887014
Abstract: In an example embodiment, a request is received, via a graphical user interface, to add a new object to a directory of objects, the new object having a first category in a hierarchical taxonomy of categories and objects. Then one or more questions previously assigned to the first category and/or one or more existing objects within the first category are retrieved. Each of the retrieved one or more questions and information about the new object are then fed into a first machine learned model trained to output a probability that a question is applicable to an object. One or more questions are generated for the new object based on the probability for each of the retrieved one or more questions. At least one of the one or more generated questions is then assigned to the new object.

  • Patent number: 11762907
Abstract: Various examples are directed to systems and methods for generating a contract form using a contract library data structure. A computing device may receive, from a user, a contract form request comprising a set of contract classifiers. The computing device may access a contract library data structure and executes a filter routine to traverse the contract library data structure to identify at least one contract term associated with one or more filter tags corresponding to the set of contract classifiers. The filter routine may return an indication of the first contract term associated with the first node. The computing device may generate a contract form comprising the first contract term.

  • Patent number: 11710056
Abstract: A method may include receiving, at a recommendation engine, a first indication to create a first sourcing event that includes a first object and a second object. The recommendation engine may respond to the first indication by updating a learning model to increment a first frequency of the first object being included in a sourcing event, a second frequency of the second object being included in a sourcing event, and/or a third frequency of the first object and the second object being included simultaneously in a sourcing event. The recommendation engine may receive a second indication to create a second sourcing event. In response to the second indication, the recommendation engine may apply the learning model to generate a recommendation to add, to the second sourcing event, the first object instead of the second object. Related systems and articles of manufacture are also provided.

  • Patent number: 11625503
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to ensuring data integrity between database objects. A computer system may receive a data integrity request for a first set of database tables. The computer system may generate at least two work items that correspond to respective data cell groups in the first set of database tables. The computer system may then cause a plurality of processes to perform the at least two work items to generate a first plurality of hash values that includes hash values for the respective data cell groups. The first plurality of hash values may be usable to compare with corresponding ones of a second plurality of hash values generated based on corresponding data cell groups in a second set of database tables replicated from the first set of database tables.

  • Publication number: 20220398263
Abstract: Some embodiments provide a program that determines a plurality of data objects. Each data object in the plurality of data objects includes a first attribute and a second attribute. The program further sorts values of the first attribute of the plurality of data objects. The program also sorts values of the second attribute of the plurality of data objects. The program further determines a first distance value based on the sorted values of the first attribute of the plurality of data objects. The program also determines a second distance value based on the sorted values of the second attribute of the plurality of data objects. The program further defines a plurality of clusters based on the sorted values of the first attribute of the plurality of data objects, the first distance value, the sorted values of the second attribute of the plurality of data objects, and the second distance value.

  • Publication number: 20210286824
Abstract: An online system performs upgrades of replicated databases. The online system stores data in a primary site and a secondary site. The primary site comprising databases used to process client requests and a secondary site comprising databases used as standby. The online system upgrades databases of both sites by upgrading the secondary site, switching client requests to the secondary site while using the databases of primary site as standby databases. The online system then upgrades the primary site. The process allows the online system to upgrade databases with small down time.

  • Patent number: 11093252
Abstract: Presented herein are techniques that automate data replication in a cluster by defining and managing logical availability zones. Nodes belonging to a same logical availability zone may be brought down together without impacting data availability. Thus, logical availability zones enable easier data management for events such as when nodes must be brought offline for troubleshooting or upgrading, while also providing resiliency against regional outages. Further, present embodiments define logical availability zones and assign nodes to zones in a manner that reduces the amount of data movement that is necessary, thereby requiring fewer computational resources.

  • Patent number: 11030861
Abstract: A method for processing cash-withdrawal transactions is provided. When available cash at a terminal device is less than a first amount that a user wants to withdraw, the terminal device presents a first option to the user to receive a first part of the first amount, which the terminal device is falling short of, as a voucher or a credit in a digital wallet. When the first option is selected, the terminal device displays a list of digital wallets and vouchers to the user. The terminal device communicates a first request to the payment network indicating a selection of the first option and one of a voucher or a digital wallet. Based on the first request, the payment network initiates crediting of the first part in the digital wallet or procuring of the voucher, with the terminal device dispensing the remaining part of the first amount as cash.
