  • Patent number: 11797598
Abstract: A method and system provide the ability to personalize a digital channel. Multiple content assets are obtained and include an image content asset. Each of the assets is associated with an associated set of semantic elements. The multiple content assets are clustered into content clusters based on a similarity of the semantic elements. A first content asset is selected. The clustering is used as a metric to estimate distances between the first content asset and remaining multiple content assets. The remaining multiple content assets are scored based on the distances. One of the remaining multiple content assets is selected based on the scoring and provided for a personalized component of the digital channel. In addition, a coverage map that includes both users and content may be generated based on the clusters and then utilized to select the content asset.

  • Publication number: 20220138798
Abstract: A method, system, and apparatus provide the ability to personalize a digital channel. A digital channel is provided to multiple users and visitor information at each visit is collected. The visitor information includes data about each visit and multiple content items that are presented. The users are autonomously clustered by segmenting the user population into behavioral groups such that mutual information is maximized between the users in an assigned behavioral group and the content items. Based on the clustering, a model is generated that estimates a score for each interaction between users and content items. The model is updated at a defined interval. Based on the score, content items to recommend to a specific user are determined. The recommendation jointly maximizes an outcome and a learning speed of the model. The personalized digital channel is delivered to the specific user based on the recommended multiple content items.

  • Patent number: 11249626
Abstract: The disclosed computer-implemented method may include accessing defect identification data that identifies defects in frames of video content. The method may also include generating, as part of the interactive user interface, an interactive element that presents the frames of video content. The method may further include generating, as part of the interactive user interface, another interactive element that presents selectable metadata items associated with the identified defects in the frames of video content. At least one of the selectable metadata items may include an associated user interface action. Then, upon receiving an input selecting one of the selectable metadata items, the method may include performing the associated user interface action. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10733154
Abstract: Methods for performing a structured collection procedure by utilizing a collection device are disclosed herein, in which a collection procedure is initiated for performing one or more data collections for one or more data event instances occurring according to a schedule of events. Each data event instance is determined to be successful or unsuccessful on the basis of actual performance of the data collection and meeting certain conditions of the predetermined adherence criteria for the data event instance. Contextual information for successful data collections is generated and a data file generated for storing records relating to successful data collections. For unsuccessful data event instances, substitute data relating to data collections performed separately from the collection procedure are included in the data file records for the collection procedure if the substitute data is determined to meet conditions of the predetermined adherence criterion for the corresponding data event instance.

  • Publication number: 20180122063
Abstract: There is disclosed a system for estimating the volume of food on a plate, for example meal, with a mobile device. The system uses a camera and a light pattern projector. Images of the food with and without a projected light pattern on it enable to compute the tridimensional shape and volume, while image segmentation and recognition steps estimate one or more food types in said images. By applying accessible knowledge databases, the carbs content is estimated and the associated insulin bolus doses are provided. Developments comprise coding of the light pattern, different light sources and associated wavelengths, motion compensations, additional optics, estimation of fat content and associated multi-wave boluses. The invention can be implemented in a glucometer or in an insulin pump controller provided with a test strip port or with a mobile phone.
