  • Publication number: 20220348989
Abstract: The present invention relates to the systematic identification of antimicrobial resistance markers (biomarkers) in a microorganism for a particular compound and the use of such identified markers for the screening of microorganisms for antimicrobial resistance, as well as for screening/predicting antimicrobial compounds that can overcome the resistance provided by one or more of the antimicrobial resistance marker(s).

  • Patent number: 10053735
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods for predicting the outcome of anthracycline treatment of cell proliferative disorder patients. This is achieved by determining the expression level of at least one gene selected from the group consisting of PITX2; TFF1 and PLAU. The invention also relates to sequences, oligonucleotides and antibodies which can be used within the described methods.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 21, 2006
Date of Patent: August 21, 2018

  • Publication number: 20080171318
Abstract: The invention provides methods, nucleic acids and kits for detecting, classifying and/or distinguishing between or among lung cell proliferative disorders. The invention discloses genomic sequences the methylation patterns of which have utility for the improved detection of and differentiation between said class of disorders, thereby enabling the improved diagnosis and treatment of patients.

  • Publication number: 20060230686
Abstract: A car door comprises an outer part 1 and an inner part 3 which are coupled together by a fixing screw 21 and retainer 23. A sealing strip 7 is fitted over a terminal portion 15 of the inner door part 3 by means of adhesive tape 17. The fixing screw 21 is fitted by distorting or compressing the tubular portion 9 of the seal which brings aperture 31 into alignment with the aperture 22 through which the screw 21 is to pass. When the screw 21 has been fitted into the aperture 22, the tubular part 9 of the seal 7 is released and resiles. The fixing screw 21 serves to provide an additional means for locating the seal 7 and secures the inner door part 3 to the outer door part 1. A concealing lip 25 extending integrally from the tubular part 9 of the seal 7 conceals from view the point where the outer door part 1 and the inner door part 3 are joined together to improve the visual appearance of the door and to reduce or prevent dirt or moisture entering the space between the outer and inner door parts 1 and 3.
