  • Publication number: 20200377071
Abstract: A brake actuator for a rail vehicle has a sensor for detecting a braking force generated in the brake actuator, a sensor for detecting vibrations generated by the braking force in the brake actuator, and a control unit. The control unit is configured so as to generate a relationship between the speed of the rail vehicle with a generated braking force and a frequency of the vibrations generated by the braking force.

  • Patent number: 10583744
Abstract: A braking system for a rail vehicle includes a target value generator for the target value of the overall braking power, a controller for determining at least one manipulated variable value on the basis of the target value and at least one actuator which transmits the manipulated variable value to the at least one braking device. The system at least approximately determines acceleration components of the rail vehicle and determines the actual value of the total braking power from the acceleration components while taking the vehicle speed and the vehicle mass into consideration. The controller is designed to control the manipulated variable value such as to reduce the control deviation between the target value and the determined actual value.

  • Patent number: 9555821
Abstract: A control arrangement for a rail vehicle, having at least one control device which is or can be connected for the purpose of receiving sensor signals, wherein the sensor signals each represent at least one speed, and having at least one bus connection which is used or can be used to connect the control device to a data bus of the rail vehicle for interchanging data. The control device creates a standstill signal on the basis of the sensor signals and transmits the standstill signal onto the data bus. Also disclosed is a standstill determination device which can receive standstill signals via the data bus, wherein the standstill determination device determines, on the basis of standstill signals received via the data bus, whether the rail vehicle is at a standstill. Also disclosed is a rail vehicle and a method for determining a standstill of a rail vehicle.

  • Patent number: 9545907
Abstract: A control valve device for a highly available pneumatic brake system for a rail vehicle, having a compressed-air inlet which is or can be connected to an outlet of a discharge valve device; a compressed-air outlet which is or can be connected to a relay valve device; and a safety input which is or can be connected to a compressed-air source; wherein the control valve device fluidically connects the safety inlet to the compressed-air outlet in a first switching position and fluidically connects the compressed-air inlet to the compressed-air outlet in a second switching position; wherein the control valve device can modify the inlet pressure in the second switching position in accordance with a control device, in order to provide the outlet pressure.
