The apparatus is attachable to a vertical wall for a shower stall. The reservoir can be provided with a valve to at least partially control flow of water from the reservoir. The valve is preferably a flapper valve, a rotatable flow regulator valve, a poppet valve or a duckbill valve. A method of dissolving the fragrance carrier is also provided.
