  • Patent number: 6831537
Abstract: A device for detecting the installation of a child seat, in particular on a vehicle seat, includes one fixed part and one movable mechanism. The fixed part has a switch element with two switching states and a device for forming an actuating field for the switch element. The movable mechanism is movable, as a result of the installation of the child seat, from a first position to a second position, thereby making a variation in the actuating field attainable, so that the switch element changes the switching state.

Date of Patent: December 14, 2004
    Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbH

  • Patent number: 4694814
Abstract: A control circuit for an ignition system having a magnet generator provides an abrupt adjustment of the ignition time point toward an advanced ignition when a predetermined upper speed range of an engine is reached. The control circuit includes a frequency dependent R-C member coupled to a control switching transistor activated at a preset voltage level to trigger an ignition switching power transistor. The R-C member is preadjusted so as to be charged to the preset voltage level at the time point of the transition from a lower to the upper speed range.

  • Patent number: 4561410
Abstract: A cooling plate, the hybrid electronic circuit and a circuit board connection plate, are mounted flat at the bottom of a cup-shaped vessel with a reentrant tube for an iron core leg, in which vessel the secondary winding on its spool and a primary winding set inside the spool are put for being imbedded in a casting resin. The vessel and its contents fits over the central core leg of an E-shaped stationary armature of a magneto generator for a one-cylinder internal combustion engine.

  • Patent number: 4462356
Abstract: Voltage halfwaves generated by a magneto in one polarity are utilized for powering and timing ignition of an internal combustion engine, and voltage halfwaves of the opposite polarity, taken from the circuit of the primary winding, are utilized both to feed a regulated d.c. voltage source for a timing circuit and to provide a recurring trigger voltage for a monostable circuit that keeps the ignition control circuit operative only so long as the speed of the engine does not exceed a predetermined limit. The monostable circuit is constituted by appropriate connecting up of an available timer integrated circuit unit.

  • Patent number: 4418296
Abstract: A magneto-generator for engine ignition has a cup-shaped pole-wheel with a multiplicity of magnet poles (13) within which is a stationary star-shaped armature having generator windings (20) on the outwardly extending pole legs. A pulse generator (24) is built in with its winding around a core (25) having one end affixed to the armature core (17) between two pole legs (18) and its other end terminating in a pole head (27) that cooperates with a projection (28) of the revolving pole-wheel to enable a control pulse to be generated by a flux derived from the same magnets that serve the generator windings.

  • Patent number: 3971977
Abstract: To supply electrical power to small motor vehicles such as motorcycles, motor scooters, snow-mobiles and the like, which do not have a battery, to energize separate loads such as headlights and tail-lights, a permanent magnet field generator having a plurality of armature windings has loads, for example the main headlight connected, in series with a control switch, across all the armature power supply windings; one of those power supply windings has, additionally, the tail-light connected in series therewith, and in advance of the switch connection, so that upon burn-out of the main load (for example the headlight) no excess voltage peaks will develop which also destroy the other load, for example the tail-light.
