  • Publication number: 20170307197
Abstract: Lighting fixtures are provided. In one example implementation, a lighting fixture can include a housing, one or more drivers, and means for securing the one or more drivers to the housing to decrease thermal resistance between one or more of the drivers and the housing. The lighting fixture can also include an LED system comprising a light engine having a plurality of LED devices. The plurality of LED devices can be arranged on an LED board of the light engine such that a first portion of the LED board has a first density of LED devices and a second portion of the LED board has a second density of LED devices. The first density can be different than the second density.

  • Publication number: 20170307149
Abstract: Lighting fixtures are provided. In one example implementation, the lighting fixture can include a housing portion and one or more modular lighting components mechanically coupled to the housing portion. Each modular lighting component can include a lighting assembly (e.g., an LED lighting assembly) and a heat sink portion. The one or more modular lighting components can be selectively removable from the housing portion to configure the lighting fixture for a plurality of different lighting configurations.

  • Patent number: 9523491
Abstract: A luminaire including a housing made of thermally conductive material having a top, a bottom and two opposite sides connecting the top to the bottom, each side having plurality of external, vertically spaced, substantially parallel cooling fins that extend longitudinally and project laterally outwardly of the housing, preferably at a shallow downward and outward angle. The housing configuration provides a large surface area per unit of housing length to optimize heat dissipation. A configurable, cartridge-like LED bezel assembly—readily replaceable in the field—is supported on the bottom of the housing. A driver for the LED assembly—also readily replaceable in the field—is located within the housing.

  • Patent number: 9421036
Abstract: An improved device for the management of a patient's uterine hemorrhage has improvements that include: (a) an inlet valve for controlling the flow of fluid into an expandable vessel, (b) an adapter having a free end and a connection end that connects to the third opening in a tube that has openings at each of its ends, (d) a pressure release component that connects to the adapter's free end and provides for the automatic release of a quantity of fluid sufficient to maintain an approximate, steady state, uniform operating pressure within the device, and (e) an attachment means that affixes the free end of the expandable vessel to the tube at a point that is distal from a tube end so that a portion of the tube extends into the expandable vessel and can be used as a core to assist with the placement of the vessel into the patient's uterine cavity prior to its inflation.

  • Publication number: 20090272701
Abstract: A centrifuge blood component separation system for separating components of a blood product, comprising a separation vessel; a first transfer bag; a second transfer bag with an outside edge generally congruent to an outside edge of the first transfer bag and further having a central collection area spaced away from the outside edge. The second transfer bag may have additional collection areas. A perforated seam between collection areas allows the second collection bag to be separated into a plurality of bags after collection of blood components. The system has a centrifuge apparatus comprising a rotor having a central compartment for receiving the transfer bags.
