  • Publication number: 20240119681
Abstract: Disclosed are example embodiments of systems and methods for virtual try-on of articles of clothing. An example method of virtual try-on of articles of clothing includes selecting a garment from a pre-existing database. The method also includes loading a photo of a source model wearing the selected garment. Additionally, the method includes generating a semantic segmentation of the model image. The method also includes extracting the selected garment from the photo of the model. Additionally, the method includes determining a correspondence between a target model and the source model by performing a feature point detection and description of the target model and the source model, and performing feature matching and correspondence validation. The method also includes performing garment warping and alignment of the extracted garment. Additionally, the method includes overlaying and rendering the garment.

  • Publication number: 20200178881
Abstract: A system for identifying hyperpigmented spots in skin. The system includes an image capture device for capturing an image of a subject and a computer for analyzing the image. The computer stores logic that, when executed by the processor, causes the computer to receive the image of the subject, receive a baseline image of the subject, identify a hyperpigmented spot in the image of the subject, and annotate the image of the subject to distinguish the hyperpigmented spot in the image. The logic may also cause the system to classify the hyperpigmented spot into a predetermined class, determine a product for treating the hyperpigmented spot according to the predetermined class, and provide information related to the product for use by the subject.

  • Patent number: 9527133
Abstract: A fine particle comprising a core and a coating, wherein the coating comprises a substantially monomolecular layer of organic molecules. The fine particle being produced by a process comprising introducing a core material into a plasma stream, thereby vaporizing some or all of the core material; cooling the core material downstream from where the core material was introduced thereby creating particles of the core material; and coating the particles of the core material with organic molecules in an injection zone, wherein the injection zone is downstream of a region where the particles of core material are formed, or wherein the cooled particles of core material are coated with organic molecules in a coating chamber by applying a liquid coating material and/or a solution of coating material to the core material; where in the coating chamber is downstream of a region wherein the particles of core material are formed.
