  • Publication number: 20240128323
Abstract: Metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistors (MOSFET) including deep P-wells are disclosed. MOSFETs may include a drift layer disposed over a substrate, and a P-well disposed within the drift layer. The P-well may include a first portion disposed directly over the drift layer, where the first portion includes a first doping concentration. The P-well may also include a second portion separated from the drift layer by the first portion. The second portion may include a second doping concentration distinct from the first doping concentration of the first portion. Additionally, the MOSFET may include an N-source disposed at least partially over the second portion of the P-well, an oxide layer disposed over the N-source and the drift layer, and a gate layer disposed over the oxide layer.

  • Publication number: 20230069403
Abstract: Methods and systems for forecasting demand for a plurality of items are provided. In particular, the demand forecasting system and methods described herein are useful for predicting demand of products in a retail context. Forecast models are built and used to score incoming sales data to predict future demand for items. Forecast models are validated by evaluating actual demand against predicted demand and using that information to inform how future ensemble forecast will be generated. Forecasts may be broken down into smaller components to satisfy a variety of requests for data from client applications.

  • Patent number: 9306222
Abstract: A method of joining a substrate for a bipolar electrode of a bipolar battery to a frame for supporting the bipolar electrode for use in the bipolar battery includes the implanting of a thermoplastic material in the substrate. The substrate and the frame are then vibration welded together at a frequency in the range of 50 Hz to 1 kHz to melt the thermoplastic material. The melted thermoplastic material forms a continuous or substantially continuous loop around the substrate to join the substrate and the frame together. A bipolar battery comprising a substrate and a frame joined together by the method, and a substrate for a bipolar electrode for use in the method are also described.

  • Patent number: 8645844
Abstract: The invention includes systems and methods for conducting online contests of user-contributed media works and entertainment works. The invention includes anti-gaming or anti-cheating methods in such contests. The invention includes a method of providing an online media network for user-contributed content. The system quickly and accurately identifies quality content from a vast pool of user-contributed content. User-contributed content is rated by those who contribute and those who view content. Good entries bubble to the top, which means that users can find good music and videos easily. Fraud detection devices automatically detect and remove fraudulent ratings. Contests and prizes associated with specific categories of content provide incentives for contributors to provide quality content and rate many pairs of works. Identified top-rated content is made available individually, or as a continuous stream of user-contributed content.
