  • Patent number: 11922454
Abstract: An example method includes detecting, using a user interaction tracking module associated with a website, access of a user of a webpage that is part of the website. The website provides multiple products for sale and is operated by an entity. The user interaction tracking module is provided by an offer aggregator entity that is distinct from the entity. The website has a theme providing a look and feel for the website. The method further includes accessing a profile of the user and identifying, based on the profile of the user, multiple offers to provide to the user. Each offer includes an offer title and a reference to one or more products of the multiple products. The method further includes providing for display to the user in the webpage the multiple offers. Each offer for display includes the offer title and the reference and has the theme of the website.

  • Patent number: 7293287
Abstract: A method and system is disclosed for cross-correlating information between the domains of network management and network security. The present invention discloses a model representing the security domain that can be used to define relationship between devices and events in the security domain in the context of a managed network. With this model, a security topology of the network security domain can be created based on the current implementation of the network. This model and topology allows the present invention to correlate relevant network security information to diagnose problems as they occur by using events detected within the network. Using the disclosed method and system for correlating information in the network security, the present invention provides further enhancements over conventional methods by cross-correlating information between the network security and network management domains to aid in their detection and analysis of problems.

Inventors: Reuben S. Fischman, Adam Payne
  • Patent number: 7049004
Abstract: According to various embodiments and aspects of the present invention, there is provided a dynamically tunable thin film interference coating including one or more layers with thermo-optically tunable refractive index. Tunable layers within thin film interference coatings enable a new family of thin film active devices for the filtering, control, modulation of light. Active thin film structures can be used directly or integrated into a variety of photonic subsystems to make tunable lasers, tunable add-drop filters for fiber optic telecommunications, tunable polarizers, tunable dispersion compensation filters, and many other devices.

  • Publication number: 20050144151
Abstract: A system and method for analyzing and resolving events within a computer network. The method for analyzing and resolving events within a computer network may include the steps of detecting an event, analyzing the event to determine a root cause for the event; relating a solution to the event based on the root cause; determining whether the solution can resolve the event automatically; automatically resolving the event when the event can be resolved automatically; and providing information for resolving the event to a user when the event cannot be resolved automatically.
