  • Patent number: 11408144
Abstract: A method and control system operable to control movement of a work implement of a work vehicle. The control system includes a reservoir that retains fluid, a pump in fluid communication with the reservoir, and an actuator in fluid communication with the pump. The actuator has a first side and a second side. A control valve is fluidly positioned between the pump and the actuator, a first proportional relief valve is fluidly positioned between the pump and the first side of the actuator, and a second proportional relief valve is fluidly positioned between the pump and the second side of the actuator. The first proportional relief valve is configured to permit flow of fluid from the first side of the actuator to the reservoir when a pressure at the first side of the actuator exceeds a pressure set point.

  • Patent number: 11066809
Abstract: A draft frame positioning system of a motor grader having a main frame includes an adjustable draft frame configured to be moved to one of a plurality of positions and a moldboard coupled to the draft frame. The moldboard is movable based on the position of the draft frame. A saddle assembly is coupled between the draft frame and the main frame, and the saddle assembly includes a first saddle arm, a second saddle arm, and a saddle top member coupled between the first and second saddle arms. A saddle positioning cylinder moves between an extended position and a retracted position, and the cylinder is coupled at one end to the main frame or the saddle top member and at an opposite end to the saddle assembly. A movement of the saddle positioning cylinder induces movement of the draft frame to any of its plurality of positions.

  • Publication number: 20200399859
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a gas-charged hydraulic accumulator assembly of a work vehicle, which is hydraulically coupled to a cap side chamber of a hydraulic cylinder. The gas-charged hydraulic accumulator assembly absorbs an impact from a work tool which increases a pressure of a first fluid in the cap side chamber. The gas-charged hydraulic accumulator assembly may include a first accumulator and a second accumulator. The first accumulator has a first gas and is used to receive the first fluid. The second accumulator is coupled to the first accumulator and has a second gas. The pressure of the second gas in a second pre-charged status is higher than a pressure of the first gas in a first pre-charged status. The second accumulator is used to receive the first fluid.

The first proportional relief valve permits flow of fluid from the first actuator upon an impact at a first set force. The first set force is adjusted by a user. The second proportional relief valve permits egress of fluid from the second actuator upon an impact at a second set force. The second set force is adjusted by a user.

  • Patent number: 10570586
Abstract: A work vehicle includes a first frame, a second frame pivotally coupled to the first frame at an articulation joint, and a control circuit operable to control relative movement of the first and second frames about the articulation joint. The control circuit includes a pump, an actuator in fluid communication with the pump, and a first valve assembly coupled to a user-manipulable control. The first valve assembly is configured to direct fluid from the pump to the actuator in response to movement of the user-manipulable control to pivot the first and second frames. The control circuit also includes a second valve assembly configured to direct fluid from the pump to the actuator in response to receiving an electronic control signal to pivot the first and second frames.

  • Patent number: 8135620
Abstract: A network advertising system and method includes a network server, a computer user, an electronic banner advertisement (BA) file, multiple web page files, a BA program, and a monitor. The BA is displayed on the monitor in a window of a browser program from about the point in time that a new web page is requested to about the point in time that the web page file corresponding to the new web page is downloaded onto the user computer and ready for viewing. The BA offers an advertising venue that will serve up a very discernible advertisement, uncluttered by other content that captivates the viewer's interest, at a point of time that a web (Internet or other network) surfer is willing and amenable to review additional data and information. This is typically a down-time, interstitial period, during a browser session. However, by displaying the advertisement as described, most web surfers will pay attention to the BA and the message that it is providing.

  • Publication number: 20050138633
Abstract: A network advertising system and method includes a network server, a computer user, pop data packet, multiple web page files, and a display. The pop data packet includes user viewable data, launch command language, status command language, and failure command language. The user viewable data is displayed interstitially or non-interstitially on the monitor in a pop window of a browser program. The present system ensures that user viewable data intended for display in a pop window is actually displayed. The system determines whether or not a pop window was opened and whether or not the user viewable data was displayed in the pop window. Optionally, the system also determines whether or not the user viewable data was displayed for at least a minimum predefined period of time. If either of these conditions occurs, the failure command language directs display of the user viewable data by alternate means.

  • Publication number: 20020194337
Abstract: A method and system for controlling access to a data object stored on a portable storage medium. A request to access a data object stored on the portable storage medium is received. A first attribute associated with the data object is inspected to determine if read access to the data object is permitted. An access control portion of a file stored on the portable storage medium is inspected to determine an offset within the file at which the data object is stored. If the first attribute indicates that read access to the data object is permitted, then the data object is read at the offset within the file.
