Abstract: A respiratory mask including a mask fabric body (1), and one or more holding straps (3) for holding the mask body to the face of a user, the mask body being made of a woven fabric having weft yarns and warp yarns, the weft and warp yarns having a count comprised between 10 and 1100 den, the warp density being between 14-130 warps/cm, the weft density being between 12-70 wefts/cm, wherein at least part of the body is provided with a liquid-repellent crosslinked polymer.

Abstract: It is disclosed a fabric (10) comprising a main layer (1), at least one LED (2) and a supporting element (3), wherein said at least one LED (2) is arranged on a coupling surface (3a) of said supporting element (3), and wherein said coupling surface (3a) is coupled to the inner surface (1a) of said main layer (1), said supporting element (3) comprising a plurality of electrical connections (4) to electrically connect said at least one LED (2) to a logic control unit (6) configured to control said at least one LED (2) in function of a sensing signal coming from a sensing device (7), said main layer (1) being provided with at least one opening (5) arranged in correspondence of said at least one LED (2) for allowing the light emitted by said at least one LED (2) to pass therethrough. Abstract: The present invention relates to method of testing the bacterial filtering efficiency of a fabric, the method including the steps of preparing a solution including bacteria, peptone water and NaCl, feeding said solution including bacteria to a nebulizer, generating an aerosol of said bacterial solution and flowing said solution through a cascade impactor to provide a plurality of bacteria colonies in a plurality of plates present in a plurality of stages of said cascade impactor, characterized in that the concentration of NaCl in the peptone water used to prepare said bacterial solution is in the range of 30 g/L to 150 g/L and in that the temperature of said cascade impactor is in the range of ?15° C. to 15° C.
