Abstract: Soldering equipment for connecting solar cells includes an inductor loop for generating a high-frequently magnetic field for soldering conductors to the solar cells and holding-down devices, which devices penetrate the inductor loop, for pressing the conductor onto the conductor tracks of the solar cells. A field-concentrator element of a ferrite material is arranged in each holding-down pin of the holding-down device, whereby the magnetic field can be locally amplified and concentrated.

Abstract: A solar cell string having a plurality of solar cells disposed in a row includes contact elements for electrically connecting the solar cells. The contact elements have cup-shaped indentations, created through deep-drawing or stamping, that establish contact with the solar cells through holes in insulating strips applied to the solar cells.

Abstract: A device for electrically connecting back surface solar cells to form a solar cell string includes an application unit for applying double-sided adhesive insulating strips to the solar cells disposed behind one another along a longitudinal axis, which insulating strips are attached to the solar cells by pressing. The device has an assembly unit for positioning electrical conductor elements on the insulating strips for connecting two adjacent solar cells. The conductor elements are flexible components for creating stress relief structures that are produced in a shaping unit disposed next to the application unit.

Abstract: An apparatus for decoating a solar module includes a rotatable scraper, which is connected to a drive-shaft for driving in rotation and pressing with a pressure-force the scraper onto a surface of the solar module, wherein the rotatable scraper has prongs or teeth with side-faces and end-faces, and wherein the end-faces are embodied as polishing surfaces.

Abstract: A method and device for the application of an elongated electric conductor to a solar element wherein the required length of the elongated electric conductor is readied and the conductor is strained through application of a tensile stress. The conductor is then fastened to the solar element. Straining of the elongated electric conductor is monitored to prevent exceeding of a tensile limit. During fastening onto the solar element at least one press-on roller is employed.
