Abstract: The invention relates to a compressor (1) for an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle, comprising an input shaft (2) which drives the compressor (2) and via a switchable electromagnetic clutch can be coupled to a pulley (10) which can be driven by the internal combustion engine. The clutch comprises a friction surface (10′) which is positioned at the face end of the pulley (10), a disk carrier (12) mounted in a non-rotating manner on the input shaft (2) and an annular magnet or toroidal coil system (6) housed in an annular gap (11) or annular recess of the pulley (10) for pressing a disk (15) mounted in a non-rotating manner on the disk carrier (12) against the friction surface (10′). A sleeve (8) is mounted in a non-rotating manner on the input shaft (2), the pulley (10) is rotationally mounted on the sleeve (8) and the disk carrier (12) is flanged to the face end of the sleeve (8).

Abstract: A multipart, extremely low weight tire rim for high-speed vehicles wherein the interior part of the rim or wheel spider is made of titanium for strength purposes, while the exterior rim parts holding the tire and forming the tire bed consist of aluminum or another easily workable material and wherein the interior part of the rim or wheel spider may be constructed to be disk-shaped or of an arched shape that is manufactured by deformation of titanium sheet metal in the superplastic state.

Abstract: A tail spoiler for motor vehicles provided with a tail trunk section having an upper outer face, a rear outer face and a transition region is proposed. The tail spoiler includes a center portion which is arranged along the transition region and extends along the width of the tail trunk portion, and further an air deflection part connected to the center portion in a rearward and upward direction therefrom and an angular mounting part. The angular mounting part which is also connected to the center portion has at least two shank arms spaced from each other along the width of the motor vehicle. These two shank arms are located on the upper outer face in forward direction. In addition, the mounting part includes two further shank arms which are also spaced from each other along the width of the motor vehicle but are located on the rear outer face in a downward direction and are arranged at an angle less than 180.degree. relative to the first mentioned shank arms.

Abstract: An arrangement for storing objects in a trunk of a power vehicle has a wall element arranged at an inner surface of a trunk cover and movable relative to the latter between a closed position in which it forms a closed compartment and an open position in which the compartment is opened, and mounting elements for movably mounting the wall element at one side of the inner surface of the trunk cover so that the wall element pivots between the closed and open positions. The arrangement may have a cover for the compartment formed by the trunk cover or a separate element mounted thereon.
