  • Patent number: 5639354
Abstract: A distillation device with a rotating evaporator flask disposed within a heated bath. The heated bath is movable down and away from the evaporator flask to provide space for an evaporator flask support below the evaporator flask. The evaporator flask support holds the evaporator flask while it is connected or disconnected from the rotary drive. In addition, a U-shaped case accommodates the collecting flask and/or evaporator flask. The case supports the flask in an upright manner and facilitates positioning and transporting of the flask.

  • Patent number: 5152375
Abstract: A lifting device, including: a base pedestal; a stand located above the base pedestal; a carriage for lifting a laboratory apparatus; and lifting structure for lifting a carriage along the stand, the lifting structure including: a rotatable inertial mass located within the base pedestal; a movable actuating lever connected to the rotatable inertial mass for rotating the inertial mass; and connecting structure for operatively connecting the carriage to the rotatable inertial mass whereby the carriage can be lifted by rotating the rotatable inertial mass. The rotary evaporator is heated by a system including: a bath; a base pedestal for supporting the bath; handles for lifting the system; and a holder for holding a heater and for holding structure for controlling the heater.

  • Patent number: 4625935
Abstract: The support has a base plate in which a rod is secured in a vertical position. A holder device can be moved up and down on the rod. An energy storage means in the form of a spring means, which is disposed beside the rod, is connected to a cable drum. A cable leads from the cable drum to the holder device by way of direction-changing rollers. Thus, force from the energy storage means is available for the upward movement of the holder device. The spring means in the energy storage means is put under tension again when the holder device is moved downwardly. The energy storage means has an adjusting means for prestressing the spring means. The energy storage means, being disposed outside the rod, makes it possible in a very simple manner to intervene in the force potential of the energy storage means with an additional drive means.
