The apparatus is adjustable so that it can be conveniently attached to gurneys having side rails with different spacing. Additionally, the apparatus includes an equipment support platform to which the critical care equipment can readily be connected. This platform can be connected and disconnected to a tray component that is connected to a turntable. The turntable can be readily rotated 360 degrees so that the equipment can easily be viewed by caregivers located in both the front and rear of the patient transport device.
