  • Patent number: 11439746
Abstract: A system to be implanted in a living body for supplying medical substance, such as insulin. The system has a first module (1) having an inlet port (5) for receiving a transcutaneous injection of the medical substance, a second module (2) having a reservoir for storing the medical substance; a first tube (3) allowing the medical substance to flow between the first module and the second module; and a catheter (4) for releasing the stored medical substance into the living body. The first tube (3) allows the first module and second module to be implanted at different locations in the living body.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 9504468
Abstract: A vascular prosthesis comprising a hollow, tubular body (10) having suturing means (20 . . . 22) on at least a first outer end for suturing the body to a vessel wall of a bodily vessel of a user. The suturing means comprise a suturing ring (20), from which at least one suturing member (21) extends radially in order to penetrate the vessel wall. On at least the first outer end the tubular body (10) is double-walled, with an inner wall (11) and an outer wall (12) between which the suturing ring (20) lies enclosed. The suturing ring preferably comprises three such suturing members (21) and a closing ring (40) is arranged locally round the vessel.

  • Patent number: 8118860
Abstract: Suturing elements for connecting a vascular prosthesis to a blood vessel include an internal, substantially annular body intended to be received in the blood vessel in addition to an external annular body intended to lie clampingly on an outer wall of the blood vessel at least practically at the location of the internal annular body. At least one of the two annular bodies is provided with suturing members which grip in the vessel wall so as to effect an adequate fixation of at least the internal annular body. The device for use with such suturing elements and a vascular prosthesis which is provided on at least one of its outer ends with at least a part of such suturing elements are disclosed. Different embodiments of such prostheses together form a modular vascular prosthesis system. A side vessel of a thus supported blood vessel can be preserved using branch elements.

  • Patent number: 6911035
Abstract: Suturing means and branch means, a vascular prosthesis, a device and a vascular prosthesis system. Suturing means for connecting a vascular prosthesis (40) to a blood vessel (50) comprise an internal, substantially annular body (10) intended to be received in the blood vessel (50) in addition to an external annular body (20) intended to lie clampingly on an outer wall of the blood vessel (50) at least practically at the location of the internal annular body (10). At least one of the two annular bodies (10, 20) is provided with suturing members (12) which grip in the vessel wall so as to effect an adequate fixation of at least the internal annular body (10). The invention also provides a device for use with such suturing means and further relates to a vascular prosthesis which is provided on at least one of its outer ends with at least a part of such suturing means. Different embodiments of such prostheses together form a modular vascular prosthesis system.
