  • Publication number: 20190256040
Abstract: A seat belt retractor including a spool and a measurement mechanism for determining a measure of the amount of seat belt webbing unwound from the spool. The measurement mechanism includes cycloidal gear transmission. A sensor is provided for detecting movement of a magnet mounted on a sensing gear and a controller may be provided for determining a measure indicating the amount of rotation of the spool and the amount of webbing withdrawal based on the movement of the magnet.

  • Patent number: 9393021
Abstract: A vascular occluding device for modifying blood flow in a vessel, while maintaining blood flow to the surrounding tissue. The occluding device includes a flexible, easily compressible and bendable occluding device that is particularly suited for treating aneurysms in the brain. The neurovascular occluding device can be deployed using a micro-catheter. The occluding device can be formed by braiding wires in a helical fashion and can have varying lattice densities along the length of the occluding device. The occluding device could also have different lattice densities for surfaces on the same radial plane.

  • Patent number: 9387958
Abstract: A crown metal cap comfortable for opening by turning or with a bottle opener. The crown metal cap before folding, has a bell-shaped closure flange with a plurality of intercalated protrusions and depressions, the protrusions have a smaller width than the width of the depressions, and each depression has on its outer edge a convex fold; such that when closing the closure flange is folded over the mouth of the bottle, each protrusion bifurcates into a pair of minor protrusions that acquire a curved shape separated by a central depression that takes a similar form within a spheroid, forming a flange surface comfortable to touch to facilitate manual opening by turning; whereas the convex fold of each depression prevents the collapse of the outer edge of the depression to form a bell-shaped opening edge for easy opening of the crown metal cap with the bottle opener.
