  • Patent number: 11897731
Abstract: A brake device for braking an elevator installation traveling body movable along a guide rail includes a holder mounting a brake element having a brake surface movable relative to the holder between a freewheel position and a braking position. In a deactivated configuration, a pretensioning element does not exert any force moving the brake element towards the braking position, and in an activated configuration exerts such force. In a retaining state, a release element retains the pretensioning element in the deactivated configuration, and when activated into a released state, the release element changes the pretensioning element into the activated configuration. In an unactuated state, a friction-generating element does not abut the guide rail and, in an actuated state generates friction by abutting the guide rail to exert a force on the brake element and force the brake element towards the freewheel position.

  • Patent number: 11891275
Abstract: A brake device for braking a traveling body movable along a guide rail in a movement direction includes a holder mounting a brake element that has a brake surface directed toward the guide rail, the brake element being movable relative to the holder between a free-running position and a braking position. A pretensioning element is activated to exert a force that moves the brake element toward the braking position. A release element holds the pretensioning element in a holding state and is activated into a released state to reconfigure the pretensioning element from a deactivated configuration into the activated configuration. A pressing element in an actuated state generates a force on the brake element in a direction toward the guide rail to enable a reset of the brake device.

  • Patent number: 11884514
Abstract: A method and device for safety braking an elevator having an upright guide rail wherein the device includes a housing having braking elements on both sides of and being movable along the guide rail, a safety restraint on both sides between the housing and the braking elements, and a clampable and lockable actuating device that unlocks and unclamps in response to a triggering event and brings the braking elements into braking engagement with the guide rail. The actuating device, when unclamped, develops a feed force and movement transverse to the guide rail longitudinal axis engaging the braking elements with the guide rail from a laterally distanced initial position, wherein the braking elements are entrained by frictional contact on the guide rail and enter the safety restraint, and wherein the actuating device is moved back into the initial position, clamped and locked by the braking elements located in the safety restraint.

  • Patent number: 11840425
Abstract: A safety brake includes a first brake element, a first guide element, and an actuating element. The first brake element is mounted in a displaceable manner in a linear bearing on the first guide element. The first guide element can be moved between a rest position and a braking initial position. The actuating element is designed to move the first guide element from the rest position into the braking initial position, more particularly to activate the safety brake. The first brake element can carry out a braking movement from the braking initial position into a braking position. The braking movement returns the first guide element to the rest position. The first guide element is guided on a first parallelogram guide.

  • Patent number: 11666175
Abstract: Device for heating milk or milk froth with steam in a steam/liquid mixer which is equipped with a tubular mixing chamber, at least one steam supply pipe and a milk/milk froth supply nozzle aligned in the longitudinal direction of the mixing chamber. The steam supply pipe operatively discharges steam into a steam supply chamber upstream of the mixing chamber and which is connected to the mixing chamber by steam inlet holes running around the milk/milk froth supply nozzle in the longitudinal direction of the mixing chamber. The steam supply holes are preferably aligned axially parallel to the center axis of the mixing chamber. This arrangement of the steam inlet holes brings about even and thorough mixing of the steam with the cold milk or the milk froth in the mixing chamber, and so optimal heating of the milk or the milk froth.

  • Patent number: 11582980
Abstract: With a method for heating in particular milk or milk foam, in which the milk or the milk/air mixture is conveyed through a passage opening and hot steam is conveyed through at least one steam line transversely into this passage opening. The passage opening and the at least one inlet opening opening transversely into the steam line, the steam pressure in this and the pressure and the pressure in the passage opening with flowing milk or milk/air mixture are so coordinated that the hot steam at the at least one transverse inlet opening condenses in the passage opening directly on contact with the milk or the milk/air mixture. Consequently the additional energy produced by the phase change from steam to condensate water is transmitted directly as heat to the heat in the milk or the milk/air mixture.

  • Patent number: 11576522
Abstract: Operating unit for steam discharged from a steam lance in a controlled manner using a manually displaceable operating element. The operating element is displaced in one direction from an engaged starting position, in which there is no steam discharge, into engaged positions for discharge of determined amounts of steam, or displaced in the opposite direction, in which the amount of steam varies with the displacement. The operating element has a fixed casing, an outlet head displaceably mounted on the casing, a steam lance fastened to the head, and a displaceable casing including the operating element. The casing is engaged in the starting position or in the positions or can be displaced in the opposite direction, in which the steam is almost continuously variable. Milk froth is produced optimally according to the desired discharge type, in accordance with the amount of milk located in a cup.
