  • Publication number: 20230221267
Abstract: A system and methods for petro-steering methodologies are provided. An exemplary method obtains rock fabric data, and integrate rock fabric data with dynamic productivity data to identify patterns between the rock fabric data and dynamic productivity data. Gas rates and steering values are predicted across UBCT wells based on the patterns.

  • Patent number: 11636352
Abstract: Systems and methods include a method for providing an integrated advanced visualization tool for geosteering underbalanced coiled tubing drilling (UBCTD) operations. Drilling operation data is received from different sources in real time during a drilling operation. The drilling operation data includes geological formation information recorded during the drilling operation, micropalaeontological test results of the drilling operation, drilling parameters being used during the drilling operation, cumulative productivity index calculations, and reservoir pressure information of reservoirs encountered during the drilling operation. The drilling operation data is analyzed to correlate elements of the drilling operation data by time and cumulative depth. A graph is generated in real time that includes multiple plots correlated as a function of cumulative depth over time.

    Assignee: Saudi Arabian Oil Company
Inventors: Ferney Geovany Moreno Sierra, Ahmad Azly Bin Abdul Aziz
  • Patent number: 11261720
Abstract: The present disclosure describes computer-implemented method for monitoring a well operation, the method including: accessing a plurality of streams of data received from multiple sources during the well operation, wherein: the multiple sources include a well testing process, a biosteering process, a geosteering process, and a drilling process, and the well operation includes sidetracking and drilling one or more laterals from a motherbore; combining the plurality of streams of data on a single montage with a common horizontal axis to track the one or more laterals from the motherbore; and presenting the single montage on a display device to an operator running the well operation.
