    Abstract: Disclosed is a system comprising a vehicle, a trailer, and a display screen. The system includes a trailer angle between a centerline of the vehicle and a centerline of the trailer. At least one time step after the vehicle is driven backward such that the trailer angle increases beyond a threshold value, a steering warning icon is displayed on the display screen. When the trailer angle decreases below the threshold value, the steering warning icon is removed from the display screen.

The upper support apparatus further includes a resilient member coupled to an underside of the upper support plate, wherein at least one portion of the resilient member is adapted to protrude through the at least one aperture and wherein the at least one portion of the resilient member prevents direct contact between the upper support plate and the body of the vehicle.
