  • Publication number: 20240155079
Abstract: Systems and methods for configuring audio and video sectors of a camera. An audio analytics system includes a first computer configured to receive information from a camera and a microphone. The first computer includes an electronic processor. The electronic processor receives data including an image of a location and an audio of the location and generates a view of the location. The electronic processor sets, in response to receiving a first user input, a first sector of the view of the location, and sets, in response to receiving a second user input, a second sector of the view of the location. The electronic processor adjusts, in response to receiving a third user input, a configuration of the first sector, and adjusts, in response to receiving a fourth user input, a configuration of the second sector.

  • Publication number: 20240153526
Abstract: Systems and methods for audio event detection. One example provides an event detection system comprising a plurality of audio devices. Each of the plurality of audio devices is configured to be communicatively coupled to a server and includes an electronic processor. The electronic processor is configured to detect, via a microphone, audio, and determine an audio event within the audio. The electronic processor is configured to receive an image from a camera, associate the image data with the audio event to generate event metadata, and transmit the event metadata, the audio, and the image to the server.

  • Patent number: 10594983
Abstract: A surveillance system is provided including an Internet-enabled (IP) camera and nodes that determine the location of a plurality of sensors, which are wirelessly connected to the IP camera. The nodes determine the position of the plurality of sensors and the IP camera through the use of position determining techniques including multilateration, trilateration, and triangulation. Additionally, line of sight positioning methods and global positioning system devices may be used in setting up a positional awareness system, which enables the IP camera to control systems based on condition information and positional awareness.

  • Patent number: 9706264
Abstract: Methods and systems for providing a single stream including multiple FoVs. One system includes an image sensor configured to receive a selection of a plurality of field-of-views from a user, capture an image associated with each of the plurality of field-of-views, stitch the image associated with each of the plurality of field-of-views into a single stream, and transmit the single stream to at least one computing device.

  • Patent number: 9595124
Abstract: Methods and systems for adding a mark-up to a video stream. One method includes receiving, with a computing device, a video stream from an image sensor and metadata associated with at least one mark-up. The method also includes processing, with the computing device, the metadata to generate the at least one mark-up for the video stream and displaying the at least one mark-up overlaid on the video stream.

  • Patent number: 8754940
Abstract: Methods, devices, and systems for monitoring using a movable video device. The video device is movable to a plurality of positions definable by three dimensions. In an example method, the video device is moved to one of the plurality of positions. Within the video device, video data is acquired at the one of the plurality of positions. Further, within the video device, the acquired video data is processed using a processing algorithm that is configured according to a predetermined profile associated with the one of the plurality of positions. The result of the processing is sent to an external receiving device.
