  • Patent number: 6597350
Abstract: The objective of the invention is to provide an image reproduction device that can take digital data that has been subjected to analog conversion and reproduce digital data therefrom that is substantially the same as the original digital data, without using over-sampling or special hardware. An analog signal that was generated as a digital signal by an image generation device (200), but then subjected to analog conversion, and a synchronization signal from the image generation device (200) are input to an image reproduction device (100). A clock generation section (30) generates a sampling clock which has the same frequency as the dot clock used during the digital data generation, and with a suitably-adjusted phase, based on an input horizontal synchronization signal (12) together with frequency data (82) and phase data (84) as selected by a selection section (80). Digital data is reproduced from the input analog signal by an analog-digital converter (40), based on the thus generated sampling clock.

  • Patent number: 6361440
Abstract: The invention provides a game system, a game machine, a game data distribution machine, a network system and an information storage medium whose clocks can be synchronized. The game system comprises a game data distribution machine having a master function and including a clock selection section for generating indication data for obtaining clock information and a transmitting/receiving section for transmitting the generated indication data and a game machine having a slave function and including a transmitting/receiving section for receiving the indication data sent from the game data distribution machine and a clock selection section for adjusting the clock speed of own machine so as to synchronize the clock of own machine with the clock of the game data distribution machine based on the received indication data.

  • Patent number: 6346048
Abstract: There are provided a game system, game machine, game data distribution machine, image data distribution system and computer available information which can synchronize clock signals between a plurality of devices. A game data distribution machine (100) includes a machine clock generation section (180), a clock selection section (160) and a clock generation section (120). By using these sections, a reference clock is generated as a basis of synchronization. The game data distribution machine also includes a clock and data superposition section (170) which superposes the reference clock on a game data, the superposed game data being then distributed to game machines (200). Each of the game machines (200) includes a clock and data separation section (272) which extracts the reference clock from the superposed data and a clock generation section (220) which generates an operation clock for each of game execution means including a game data production section (290) and so on, based on the reference clock.

  • Patent number: 6273821
Abstract: A game system, a game data distribution machine, a game machine, and computer-usable information that make it possible to increase the efficiency of the compression and transfer of images that are otherwise difficult to compress efficiently. Distribution data that comprises image identification data 122 for determining whether or not an image is a special image is transmitted from a game data distribution machine 100 and, if the distribution data indicates that this is a request for the display of a special image, special image data 242 that has been stored previously in a storage section 240 is read out, and the special image that is provided instead of a real-time game image is displayed by an image display section 220.

  • Patent number: 5677316
Abstract: 8-Methoxy-quinolonecarboxylic acid derivatives of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl, a phenylalkyl or an ester residue hydrolyzable in the living body, R.sub.2 is a hydrogen atom or methyl and n is an integer of 1, optical isomers thereof, pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof and hydrates thereof. The 8-methoxy-quinolonecarboxylic acid derivatives of the present invention have enforced and a wide range of in vitro and in vivo antibacterial effects against Gram-positive bacteria, while retaining a strong antibacterial effect against Gram-negative bacteria, that the conventional quinolonecarboxylic acid antibacterial agents have. In addition, the compounds of the present invention scarcely show problematic side-effects and are low toxic. Therefore, they are expected to show superior clinical effects as antibacterial agents.
