  • Publication number: 20070240428
Abstract: A compact and highly efficient hybrid magnetic refrigerator includes a hybrid refrigerating apparatus wherein an evaporator of a vapor compression refrigeration cycle and a heat exchanger of a magnetic refrigeration cycle are thermally connected. The magnetic refrigeration cycle is provided with a magnetic refrigeration unit in which a magnetic substance dissipates and absorbs heat according to the increase and decrease of a magnetic field in order to heat and cool a refrigerant circulating in its vicinity. The heated refrigerant is cooled by the evaporator of the vapor compression refrigeration cycle and the cooled refrigerant is supplied to the heat exchanger cooling the outside air.

  • Patent number: 7272717
Abstract: Each embodiment of this invention implements step-by-step and empirical authentication of devices upon digital authentication among a plurality of devices. Each of a plurality of authentication devices of each embodiment can unidirectionally generate a hash value of a low experience rank from a hash value of a high experience rank, and receives a set of high experience rank and hash value in accordance with an experience. Upon receiving a certification request of the experience rank from another authentication device, the authentication device transmits a corresponding hash value to the authentication device as a request source. Upon sending a certification request of an experience rank to another authentication device, the authentication device verifies a hash value obtained from the other authentication device on the basis of a self hash value. In this way, the authentication devices authenticate each other's experience ranks.

  • Publication number: 20070136815
Abstract: There is provided a content data reproducing system that allows, in a user terminal adapted to be able to read a recording medium storing a content data encrypted with a predetermined encrypted key data, the content data to be reproduced after a CM data is reproduced. The system includes a CM data transmission portion that transmits the CM data to the user terminal in response to a request from the user terminal. When the sensing portion senses that the reproducing of the CM data has been completed in the user terminal, a permission portion permits the user terminal to use the encrypted key data to decrypt and reproducing the content data.

  • Publication number: 20070125095
Abstract: In a heat transporting apparatus, a cylinder is filled with a refrigerant and pistons are arranged in the cylinder, which compress and expand the refrigerant in the cylinder. A magnet unit is movably provided around the cylinder to apply a magnetic field to the cylinder, which is alternately increased and decreased in accordance with a movement of the magnet unit. A thermal accumulator is received in the cylinder, which produces heat depending on one of the increasing and decreasing of the magnetic field at the compression of the refrigerant, and absorbs heat depending on the other of the increasing and decreasing of the magnetic field at the expansion of the refrigerant. Heat exchangers are located in the cylinder, which radiates the heat from the refrigerant and thermal accumulator to an exterior of the apparatus, and absorbs external heat and transfers the heat to the refrigerant and thermal accumulator.

  • Publication number: 20070125094
Abstract: In a magnetic refrigerator, a permanent magnet unit shaped like a hub is so rotated as to face an annular magnetic unit having magnetic blocks arranged in a circumferential direction. The permanent magnet unit is also arranged to be concentric with a magnetic unit and has an inner and outer diameters substantially equal to those of the magnetic unit. Each of the magnetic blocks has positive and negative magnetic segments alternately arranged with predetermined gaps. As the permanent magnet unit rotates, heat conducting members are inserted into and removed from the gaps between the magnetic segments of the magnetic block. This allows heat generated from the magnetic segments to conduct in one direction.

  • Patent number: 7166951
Abstract: First and second stationary members are arranged to face each other, and a movable member is arranged between these first and second stationary members so as to be movable in a predetermined direction. An electrode groups including a plurality of stationary electrodes having the same width and sequentially arranged at substantially the same pitch in a predetermined direction is formed on each of these stationary electrodes. Also, a movable electrode having a width in the predetermined direction, which is larger than the width of each of the stationary electrodes constituting the electrode group, is arranged on the movable member. First and second voltage signal patterns differing from each other in the timing are applied to the stationary electrodes constituting the electrode group. When the movable member is driven in the predetermined direction by one of the first and second voltage signal patterns, the voltage signal pattern serving to drive the movable member is determined as the driving signal.

  • Publication number: 20060080526
Abstract: One aspect of the present invention is to provide a login system and method which can be easily applied to corporate members, and which can prevent unauthorized use even if authentication information is copied. Because of a configuration in which login is carried out by using service right data for each medium identifier of a secure storage medium, unless a dishonest person uses the secure storage medium, it is impossible to log in even if the dishonest person copies authentication information. Further, provided that the secure storage medium is distributed to every signal person belonging to a corporate body, it can be applied to corporate users in the same way as individual users.

  • Publication number: 20050268344
Abstract: A personal computer PC transmits to a server encoded user information and encoded license information, etc. contained in a secure recording medium. The server decodes the encoded license information to obtain license information. Then, the server deletes the encoded license information contained in the secure recording medium via the personal computer PC. The server decodes the decoded user information contained in a secure recording medium to obtain user information. Then, the server encodes the license information based on the user information to write the obtained encoded license information into the secure recording medium via the personal computer PC. In this manner, license information can be moved between two secure media and convenience can be improved.
