    Abstract: A vehicular power conversion device is provided with a semiconductor that converts power. The power conversion device is provided with: coolers that are arranged in an array in a vehicle advancement direction and cool the semiconductor; and a cooler cover having the coolers located therein and provided with ventilation openings serving as an intake port and a discharge port for travel-generated airflow. A cavity serving as a passageway for the travel-generated airflow is provided in at least one of above, below, and to the side of the plurality of coolers inside the cooler cover. The ventilation openings are disposed in the vehicle advancement direction from the cavity. The airflow-receiving plate is located in the cavity and, when the travel-generated airflow flows from the ventilation opening into the cavity, changes the direction of the incoming travel-generated airflow to a direction toward the coolers.

The plurality of wheelsets includes one or more specific wheelsets and one or more general wheelsets other than the specific wheelsets. The torque correcting portion calculates the corrected value of the torque, applied to the general wheelset, in accordance with a first rule and calculates the corrected value of the torque, applied to the specific wheelset, in accordance with a second rule different from the first rule.

    Abstract: A heat sink includes a heat-transfer container incorporating a flow path through which a cooling fluid flows, for cooling a heating element in contact with the heat-transfer container The flow path includes a first cross-sectional portion that becomes narrower as the distance between a given point in the flow path and a side of the heat-transfer container which makes contact with the heating element becomes longer in a direction perpendicular to the direction in which the cooling fluid flows, and a second cross-sectional portion that is approximately constant in the direction perpendicular to the direction in which the cooling fluid flows. The first cross-sectional portion and the second cross-sectional portion alternately continue in the direction in which the cooling fluid flows causing a three-dimensional flow so the heat-transfer properties are enhanced with a simplified structure.

    Abstract: When first and second intelligent power module type semiconductor switching circuits configured by an IGBT respectively are connected in parallel, collectors of IGBT are connected to each other, and emitters of the IGBT are connected to each other. Then, the emitters are connected to each other by an emitter auxiliary terminal connection line via this resistor and the auxiliary terminal. In addition, gates of the IGBT and the IGBT are connected to each other by a gate auxiliary terminal connection line via this resistor and a ferrite beads core that has a high impedance at a predetermined frequency.
